You should message Mat Armstrong regarding your Range Rover. He just rebuilt a rollover one (same model as yours) on CZcams and facelifted it to the 2018 model outside and in! What he doesn't know about those cars ain't worth knowing!! He's also a car whispering legend with the same great energy you guys have! Keep it up, hope it all goes well on all your cars!!
AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!! Hearing you guys talk about all the issues you are having with your cars is killing me! I wrecked my 2015 Mustang 2 months ago. It's totaled. I posted a few videos on my channel. I got that car brand new in 2015 with 7 miles on it. I put 71,000 miles on it in 7 years and the only thing I had to buy for it was a new battery and 4 tires. Oil changes every 6 months and put gas in the tank. It was awesome! Now I have a 44,000 mile used 2020 Ford Escape Titanium and already had to get the taillight replaced because it was getting water inside of it, they had to replace the backup camera and they had to do a recall on the brake system. 1 month in! How much stuff is going to break on this vehicle now? It was a rental so probably abused. It was driven twice as much as I normally drive. I am so mad at myself for trying to drive to Kansas City in the rain and hydroplaning right off the highway. SO DUMB!!!!! AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Need to drive the Gallardo often, I have a gated 6 speed manual Spyder for the last 7 years, other than maintenance I replaced the clutch. Don't let them sit, good cars. God bless have fun
Have the same Range Rover and my dealership warranty just expired at 60k miles and the dealer added 7 years or 75k more miles for $6400, hatted to spend it but it is worth it. Covers everything except hoses.
Keep up the video they are always so entertaining. 1:48 my dad has put 53,000 miles on his 07 tacoma. He has had it for 4 years now and it has never had a problem
Happy for you and wish you the best no matter what new venture you choose! Relieved that you will be continuing videos. I have always enjoyed the cars and detailing videos and glad that will still be a part of future videos
You should totally just buy the 4Runner next to the lambo in the garage. Effortless and reliable 😅 sorry to hear about the car woes but that’s modified life
Great to see another video, especially as you are both so humble and realistic about your vehicles. Lets just hope everything gets back to working order without too much cost or inconvenience. Thanks again for sharing your lives. Best wishes, Bob Mizen
I can tell you that the car issue is being caused by low voltage because you’re trying to clear a jar warning message is telling you that that latch is bad so it probably has an open circuit and it is drying power from the battery and when the battery goes low it puts itself into limp mode to protect itself
You might want to look into swapping that power steering pump with one for a larger 4 x 4 vehicle because the wheels and tires you have on that monster are a lot of weight to move for that little power steering pump that comes from the factory
I'm sad to hear about your vehicle issues. While it won't solve the problems, snuggling with Sal will make you feel better. I hope any repairs are cheap, cheap, cheap. Thanks for showing off Sal. He is such a cutie.
Yep out of all the cars I’ve owned, the cheapest one I ever bought was a new Hyundai in the early 2000s, and as much as i tried, I couldn’t kill that thing. I eventually sold it - it’s probably still going 😂
The reverse issue in the gallardo might be e-gear fluid flush all the way to a new clutch needed. Hopefully it's just a fluid flush. The 125% reading on clutch wear might simply be the tech who replaced the clutch added the wrong values into the software when replacing the clutch.
How many miles does your cayman have? I'm looking at getting an 08 cayman s w/115,000 miles right now and am terrified of those bore score or ims issues some folks tend to have.
I am going to say bore scoring on the Cayman.....Mine has the same issues and I kept saying nooooooooo. Then it got the bad tick sound. Definitely not lifters. In other news I have been driving it sounding like a tractor for the past 4 years and I just keep doing oil changes and adding oil here and there and it keeps on going for now. Sure it will destroy itself eventually. I hate pulling up to lights and hearing tic tic tic tic tic..... :( Had a homeless guy tell me I need to add oil once LOL......
Do you guys not use OBD scanners? Not only can you tell what the issue is (most of the time), but you can also clear the CEL if it's nothing. I do this all the time with my RC-F since I get the same CEL every ~2 months or so due to my aftermarket exhaust.
hello , If i,m not Mistaken Most Diesels Have The Hydra Lock For The Power Brakes & I Would Look Into Your Steering Geometry , Pitman Or Center Link Is Messed Up , Between Tires - Suspension - Lift Kit Somethings Off , Also I,d Look Into Replacing Stock Rubber Brake lines From Frame To Calipers And Rear Brakes from Frame To Meatball , Just My Opinion , Look Into that , Truck Should Turn By Almost An Finger , Some things Def Not Right
don't you guys in America have to wear seat belts just a question love you guys viideo keep it up and whatever happened to the second shop that you guys working on
Hey Clayton have you tried a 5w40 synthetic oil in your cayman. I have an 06 and used to burn on mobil1 0w40 my mechanic recommended to 5w40 and no burn between changes
To fix the power steering issue get a new pump and use atf instead of power steering fluid. Check the owners manual the power steering gearbox on a 7.3 needs atf
You need a bigger pump for those wheels n tyres! You can lift Faith above your head easy (stock), but swap it around, I'm not sure she could bench you (lifted and big wheels) too many times! I'm sure there's a monster truck pump out there that will do the job!! Top tip, to make another standard pump last a little longer with your current jacked setup, do not dry steer ever (turning wheel when stationary)! That puts huge pressure on the pump because of your larger tyres being super grippy! Get her rolling before you start to turn as the frictional forces to overcome are greatly reduced!! (But you very probably know this, sooooo I'll get my coat!!)
@@johnh3095 a bigger pump could be beneficial, but actually won't fit. The hydraulics inside the gearbox are shot and keep causing your pump to overwork itself
@@zeke5344 I haven't a clue about that truck as it was never sold in the UK! Wouldn't fit anywhere but the motorway anyway!! All I was trying to say was fit an aftermarket uprated power steering pump which has the muscle to turn those wheels! I didn't know it's powered from the transmission......why not the auxiliary drive belt on the engine like most vehicles? Surely someone somewhere in the states has bastardised a mount and pulley system for these sorts of mods? If not, why not? It's the most stupid mod in the world if it requires you to replace your PSPump every 4mths, nevermind how cool it looks! Bonkers! It's still a kinda neat/cool but completely pointless modification!
Seatbelts!!! Lol Also did you name Sal "sal" on purpose to go with the acronym of the shop? Summit Auto Lab = SAL. Y'all may have said this before in the past, but I'm just noticing it now lol

Ofc not. Can’t go wrong with a Toyota. I have a 04 Corolla with 230k miles and 0 problems
You guys could piece together the working parts of each car and build one that works 😆
Much love from London.

You kids are great! It's pretty common for your type of truck to have a stock power steering pump that can't turn the big tires.
Luv the old transit
I really love your energy and I wish you both the best in life
I had an XJ that went in for service so many times with issues of not starting 20 years ago. I’m fairly sure it was the coil that was the issue.
Yep out of all the cars I’ve owned, the cheapest one I ever bought was a new Hyundai in the early 2000s, and as much as i tried, I couldn’t kill that thing. I eventually sold it - it’s probably still going 😂
Sorry you guys are having so many car problems! ☹
Probably a dumb question but does the altitude of Park City play any role in how the vehicles run?
I had a similar problem with a Jeep Wrangler. Turned out to be a mouse had chewed into a wiring harness but it was a simple fix.
The reverse issue in the gallardo might be e-gear fluid flush all the way to a new clutch needed. Hopefully it's just a fluid flush. The 125% reading on clutch wear might simply be the tech who replaced the clutch added the wrong values into the software when replacing the clutch.
