Yeah, for a fairly small city it's surprisingly difficult to keep up with all the new stuff! The Xmas bar and that Reuben were highlights for sure.

Sunshine City Popcorn IS a popping place! We walked out with three bags to take home! Proper Meats was great as well... That Sticky Pig was awesome...Terri got the BMAC Burger which I helped her finish...very good as well! Thanks for the recommendations!

We went over to Upham Beach and spent some time in the Secret Garden area after we all went our separate ways. Terri's knee was having a hard time with the sand so we sat there for a bit.
@@genehinders9639 that area is so beautiful, a perfect spot to sit down and enjoy the views :) we hope her knee got to feeling better!
@@Explorcation it was getting pretty rough on her but she's a tough cookie..we took alot of breaks on this trip to try and minimize the discomfort.
Oooooh several I hadn’t heard about! And the only one I’ve tried so far is the Proper Meats food truck. Happy many new places in Grand Central. 😀 Idea for next new in St Pete video - the Foodie Lab (warehouse arts district). Bagel Babe is yummy, haven’t tried others yet.
We can't believe that with our several visits to Motorworks Brewing we had never tried the Proper Meats food truck. If we knew how good it was, we surely would have!
Another great St Pete video, glad you liked the Turkish/Kurdish cafe, we'll have to find that one on our next travels, I wonder if they do Turkish tea - which is amazing (we're not fans of Turkish coffee) ...though interestingly my Turkish/Kurdish husband hasn't ever come across pistachio coffee lol.
Yes we loved that place! The Baba Ghanoush and Kurdish Coffee were our favorites. That's crazy though that your husband has never come across pistachio coffee. From our conversation with the bakery employee, we would have thought it was a very common thing!

Wow, we actually had no idea we were up to 233 videos. I guess we've been doing this for a while! We really appreciate the feedback on the What's New series. We've been doing it for over three years now and it's definitely been a big part of our channels' growth. We're really proud of how far our channel has come, but we really hope to take it much further. With great supporters like you, we know that we can!

Great video as always! I see you are getting really good at the graphics. Makes the videos even more enjoyable. And as I know a bit about putting graphics in videos, I know if I were to recreate this video it would take me a year. But more importantly I need to plan a trip back to St Pete
Yeah, it's always a challenge to see how much we can edit a video and still get one out every (or at least most weeks). As we get more efficient at it we are able to add more to each video... but we still dream of the day that we can hire an editor and not have to do any of it!
Today (January 20, 2024), i saw that the temperature in Saint Petersburg was 2 degrees Farenheith.....Wow, i didn't know temperature could go so low in Saint Pete! 😮
Definitely not 2 degrees ferenheit, maybe 2 degrees Celsius with wind-chill? Regardless, it's very cold for Florida standards and we are definitely having to bundle up this weekend.

We're really glad you are enjoying our content! Regarding hotel stays, we unfortunately are far from experts on that, as since we live here we never stay in hotels. When we used to live in Sarasota and would visit St Pete we could often find AirBNBs for well under $100 per night, but sadly I think those days are long gone.
Has anything been done with the old Haslams book store location on Central just west of downtown? I dont think it reopened after the pandemic. If you're a book lover that place was a paradise
It is still closed. Heard a rumor it will re-open but unsure the reliability of that. It is a shame.

We usually just do day trips when we visit St. Pete Beach, but the Plaza Beach hotel is a nice place and is pretty reasonable this time of year!

So I have 1 day spare in St Pete. Looking for suggestions what to do with it.
The complication is I'm partially disabled and I can't walk far. Do any of the malls have mobility scooters to hire? I also love to look round a supermarket but again walking is the issue.
We hope you are able to make the most of your spare day here in St. Pete. Unfortunately we are not the best resource on things to do for those with mobility issues. We do know that Tyrone Mall offers wheelchairs for rent at their customer service center, but we're not sure about mobility scooters.

Hi Chrissy! Two places come to mind, the first is Tony's, we love to go there for giant slices. The other is Colony Grill where we tried the hot oil pizza 🍕 are either of those what you were looking for?
