I wasn’t shown this at Truck School. Thank you
What the hell?!
He's a very good instructor/teacher.
Love this! More videos please! I'm one step away from my CDL permit! Thanks for the info.
Congratulations Chris on your promotion
to make my life easy im two finger spinning that handle 😂
Excellent video. Ty!
Thanks Chris!!
Great video! Only one thing wrong. The red air line is the air supply line for the trailer. Not emergency air
It is called the “emergency line”.
Blue line is service brakes. Red line is emergency/spring/parking brakes. Both are to supply air to the trailer.
Gonna try to get my CDL to work with you!
Thank you
The internationals don’t allow you to dump your air. Bad idea doing a tug test with your landing gear down good way to bend your landing gear
You want to tug it with gear up? Then if not connected falls down…

I like the video but I wish you explained how to go into low or high gear for landing gear. Visually showed the locking jaws locked and explaining what the correct height is when backing under the trailer to couple
@@speedywise1679Pushing the crank handle all the way in is typically high gear and pulling it out will put you in low gear.
As for the locking jaws, you're just looking to see that the jaws closed all the way across the king pin. If they don't, a telltale sign is a shiny patch of metal on the right side of the jaw. Lastly, you look to make sure the jaw closed around the shank of the kingpin (the thinner part of the kingpin) rather than around the head at the bottom of the kingpin (wide part).
I know this comment is two months old, but hopefully this helps if you haven't found this information yet.
Pls make vedio on what paperwork’s we need to carry in truck all the time
How do you realize the air from the bags ?
I’m not lazy but I’ve always wondered why they haven’t made landing gear air assist or electronic now
There have been air operated landing gear, but they suffer from dirt in the system, leaks & freezing in cold weather.
@@Woodchopper46 really I didn't know that

Nice video except the background music was distracting and annoying
Incomplete video.
