I'm in a bit of pickel here. I recently met this Japanese guy on a language exchange platform, and I started crushing on him out of the blue, I don't even know what hit me. I really have no idea how to act around him knowing that we both come from two completely different backgrounds 😳 ( I am an Arab muslim BTW). The thing is I don't want to push the roof of my expectations, or get my hopes up in any way, only to end up disappointing myself after. So can you please tackle the subject of what Japanese men think about muslim and arab women ? Can this kind of relationships work despite the huge ethnic gap ? I'm interested to know.

I'm sorry, this girl just seems like a lot of problems to me, she seems emotionally dependent and needs lots of time to grow and organize her thoughts (therapist suggest). In this case, it is not about a Japanese guy anymore, it is about her herself. That Japanese guy told her also he's seeing other girls, it's very obvious he doesn't want anything exclusive with her either. Girls, love yourself before you want love from others, these boys treat you like just like how you treat yourself. Give some respect to yourself. have boundaries! Many ladies think they can play light and fun, only to find out they are anxious and totally screwed when the guys go away.
ちなみに I find some Japanese guys overseas (Santi mentioned in my previous question), they already have wives/girlfriends in Japan, but they still look for female companionship here outside of Japan. They are non-apologetic and i think it's really their choice. However, it just doesn't sit well with me. As I feel relationship and marriage is a commitment, it means something to me so I reject these kind of guys right away.
