I'm a 57 year old man who went through almost my whole life ignoring the Golden Girls because I assumed it was solely a show meant for little old ladies. Boy was I wrong. Golden Girls is a wonderful show, expertly written and acted. It's a riot.
I'm 27 and I binge watched the entire show for the first time with my younger sister last year. So funny!

I was a 12-14 year old girl, when my mom forced me to watch the series,
so Golden Girls was not a series I was willing to watch since it didn't contain any of the things that I like to watch (animals, crime and supernatural).
But after watching 10 minutes of the first episode, I was hooked on the series.

The costumes are amazing. The 80s were very chic and colorful. Everything in women's clothing had shoulder pads, even sweatshirts!
