- Hi everyone! Today on this channel we will watch Chicken vs Centipede - Feed chicken their favorite food. I gave my CHICKENS a lot of CENTIPEDES
I did a lot of researches and found that It’s perfectly fine for chickens to eat centipedes. In fact, much like most bugs and insects, centipedes provide some decent nutritional content with so much protein and calcium. Insects provide a lot of the key nutrition chickens need. They’re high in protein, fats, and carbohydrates, and chickens clearly love chasing and gobbling them up. Today, I feed my chicken and they made me surprised with how much they like this food!

Dude chickens in general are savage… try screwing with a mother hens chicks… or try turning your back on a not so friendly rooster and see what happens… I also remember this time my cat took out a mother hen and left one of the chicks eviscerated… the chicks brothers and sisters were eating it while it was still alive!!!

Those chicks have a natural instinct. They knew it that these centipedes had a venom(not deadly but painful) and they have to strike the tail end or the head to avoid getting bitten.
Crazy, isn’t it? The mechanics of their feeding is simple. It’s the same way when they pick up seeds and the same for killing the target. Furthermore, the whipping action does damage to injure or kill just like the crocodile’s death role and also prevents them from getting bitten because the whipping throws off balance. Nature is always interesting that way.

The last centipede was like: "someone help me. Give me a quick death. I dont want to be tortured anymore."
One of the times that I had let my friend's hens out of the main coop to forage, one of them ended up finding a really large centipede. It was so big that at start I thought the hen had found some small snake. It was really impressive how easily the hen devoured the centipede piece by piece while it was alive. It was the first time that I saw a chicken turn into "terror bird mode" up close and personal

Once my chickens almost ate a pigeon. It got inside and they attacked it instantly.
Hen's are also good mouser's they love to eat mice, Thier yummy to them😋
This was hilarious. Thanks for the laughs. I was a little apprehensive that these young chicks might get bitten, but, evidently, they knew what they were doing. They always went for the head of the centipedes. They really earned this meal.

So awesome, and cute to see the circle of life. I have a small home on the bend of a wide river, so most days I can see stuff like this happening randomly lol. Usually it's bigger animals because they make a lot more noise when a predator gets them. Half the time it's my own dogs killing a squirrel, or groundhog.

We have a ton of centipedes like these that grow pretty huge, but no matter how huge the get, the chickens always seem to quickly finsih them off.

There are actually species of giant centipede(much much larger than these centipedes) who eat baby chicks. Don't believe me? Look it up. They live on an island off the coast of S America
