No way, nothing can have a working AA in this game, even subs. But they certainly will make subs faster, because evidently Vermont can outrun them which wasn't supposed to be happening...
To be fair, subs might as well have AA ratings.
I mean, the Tier 1 ships have AA even though they don't see carriers anymore, and it's not like any of the subs have enough aa guns (or proper rangefinding and fire control equipment to make good use of them) that it'd make a tangible difference from a gameplay perspective.
The U-69's got *a* 20mm autocannon.
The U-190's got what looks like a 37mm gun and two 20s. (the tier 1 Hermelin has three 37s and a pair of 20s, for reference)
The U-2501 has four 20s.
Disclaimer: No, I don't play subs, and I don't want or expect subs to be able to meaningfully deter aerial attacks against themselves or against friendly ships. Giving AA ratings to subs is just a flavour thing to add *some* degree of realism to an otherwise completely broken ship type.

It isn't. It's one amongst several aspects that are waaay sped-up compared to the time needed IRL.
Unfortunately, due to a glitch, artillery was found to actually be aiming where you point your crosshairs. This will be remedied immediately, and subs have had their HP buffed as compensation for their suffering.
This is clearly a result of server overload. Sometimes, there is lag, desync and stuff because of too many players simultanously on the server cluster. To cope with that, they automatically switch off some modules to free up processing power. The artillery RNG modulator (internally known as "Bull S.H.T") being one of them.

Every once in a while I'll watch one of your videos again out of some sense of sick curiosity to see where this game's gone all these years later. I miss when moskva radar, tirpitz secondaries, and minotaur cloaking devices were the worst we had to worry about and CA armor actually did something against most battleships you'd run into. It actually felt like the game was at least trying to be balanced.

Technically Subs and CVs do discourage STATIONARY camping, since a stationary target is a easy to hit targets. At least the US dreadnaughts have good AA (they can solo Japanese planes, not a high bar but its something), Vermont having 12 457s makes it the NEW Queen of Broadsides due to superior overmatch.
Remember when playing Cruisers wasn't a recreation of WW1 trench warfare? I do and it was fun.

The Vermont and the Fuso are 2 ships not to be toyed with. They both can erase ships with a salvo.
Montana too. First Yodo I ever saw was in my Montana, he went from full HP to zero in one salvo.

Its baffling how many people play this game with the mindset of: "Im fighting this guy now! I must hunt him over the whole map until i ve won our legendary battle!" Meanwhile they ignore all caps and everything else in their complete tunnelvision mode.
I'm convinced this game has some kind of algorithm that decides what your actual sigma will be for each game. I've had games like this where the guns are just insanely accurate and others where I can't his the broad side of a Hannover

Notser was on stream saying everything added to the game is designed to reduce camping, you shouldn't sit further back, and the Des Moines is fine. I damn near spit my drink all over my screen. On the latter point I get that it's still a strong ship, but the fact they can be REMOVED from the match in that way is a glaring example of the toxic proliferation of overmatch. Literally EVERYTHING added to the game in the last 3 years PUNISHES you just for leaving spawn. Some people are just playing a different game than us apparently and are still drinking the WG cool aid.

Vermont these past weeks has had the best dispersion so far, even my Ohio has dogshit dispersion compared to Vermont.
It's wild that the guns worked; did WG ever, EVER say or do anything to fix the artillery bugs that were discovered back in, what was it, August?
Subs and CVs don't use guns, therefore it isn't a problem.

i sometimes assume whenever i buy prem days, for a few days the game is highly rewarding, good games, good MM, everything hits and crits. Than a week and its gone regardless how many days i bought.

Flamu's comments in the first 35 seconds are so true. Its just that I have only 1 screen and I get locked into the game and cannot go do something else on my PC unless I return to port. Anybody know which settings to use so I can go watch youtube or something else on the PC when the game is a disaster so I still get credit income?

First few sentences from the start. i totaly agree. i am more annoyed than enjoying, in most of the time.
What Flamu describes at the beginning of this video is exactly why I don't play WOWS anymore. The surface ship gameplay in this game is superb, but how often do you get to enjoy it? That's why I just watch Flamu instead, for as long as he's willing to tolerate 9 terrible games in order to post 1 gem.

Been playing PC and Bourgogne is just fine for making money. Its not Missouri or Premium T9 level like Jean Bart since its technically not a premium ship and has T10 repair costs but its just enough and its fun aswell.
How are the ressources compared to legends? Do you guys have something like Coal or Steelships aswell or are there other ways to unlock ships? I find the console quite nice for quick games with faster action but my Console broke some time ago and I was not able to get a new one at the moment
@@nicz7694 well no legendary tiers is equal to tier 10 ships, the tiers on legends is 1-8 after 8 is legendary, some ships got nerfed in the console version, not all of them but only high tier ships for example republique is tier 8 in console(tier 10 on pc) but bourgone in legendary tier( tier 10 pc). the resources are same but we dont have coal yet and theres some ship available for GXP and steel. btw jean bart is tier 7 same as richileu and this happen to some nation. The best tier for making money on console is tier 6-7. if they bring supership like on pc idk what will they name it because for me legendary feels like supership here 🤣
maybe the server provider had no trash servers for rent so WG accidentally picked a good one with higher tick rate

I can see the difference, you loss half of your HP in less than 1 minute because of your mistake and getting citadelled...still way much better than dealing with sky cancer even though it deals less damage, because you can't do anything about it.
To be honest, ir does feel like guns behave much better from my game experience, also last videos from trenlass, pq and this one have suspicious timing

Lol the usual things were better back in the day rant. Anyone remember when CV matchmaking was random and you could have no CVs on your team while enemy team had 2?
Yeah, but that was fixed relatively quickly. Also, AA mattered, CVs could run out of planes, and the gunnery worked.
@@thelastholdout also after the attack cv needed a while to preper her planes again, so there were breaks between attacks and now cv can shit on you almost constantly cause all it takes is to switch squadron
Yeah, the state of the game is such that often times whether you win or lose has little to do with how much fun you had. There are too many times when a match just sucks and even ending in a victory changes nothing. Losing in a match like this isn't exactly fun, but compared to most matches it's a decent approximation. It's WG's new policy of "diminishing expectations". Or to put it another way, WG no longer gives a shit and is letting itself go fat and ugly. Hopefully you're not married to this game. (not bitter at all) (lol)
That a 'fun' game stands out so starkly against the steady diet of miserable, dull or shit ones is all the evidence needed to demonstrate clearly the sad garbage into which this game has devolved.
