I don't understand how it saves time. You crimp one side only? Or do you crimp same row 4 times? Doesn't seem as solid of a crimp as a crimper with 4 sided die if you put one crimp per row.
It's good that it's you all listed for those brands how good does it do with some of the welding cables cuz I used to have to crimp welding cables and control panels the flexibility
@@jonnda Yes, you are correct. Anytime you can invoice for 320 man hours and finish the job in 100, you grab it. That $4500 tool pays for itself quick. And you don't have to put your best man on crimp detail. Easy money.
Ken B Exactly. IR makes electric impact wrenches that can stop at a precise torque. I saw them in a video where luxury automotive engines were being assembled by hand. I wanted one at first. Then I saw the $1500 or so price tag. Obvious choice for assembly line, but not marketed towards employee ownership.
Sorry, just don't trust it. You can pull some serious amperage through 750s and why in the friggin world would you just do a single point crimp on somethin like that. I wouldn't put my name on that.
You pull that out on my job and I'm running you off. No way to verify the tool did it's job. With a keyed die system you know 100% if you matched the die, wire , and connector you've got a connection that will work forever.
The price is ridiculous. I'll stick with my Temco dieless that cost me $100 bucks and does the same single point style of crimp and save $4k thank you very much 😉.
I’m curious if it is as efficient electrically as a die press. It would be nice to see some tests on that as well as a strength test.
we have a greenlee dieless crimper at work and she works just fine.

Can it be used to crimp 300-350KCMIL

For that price does it come with a small car to drive to work or at least a golf cart to get around the job site?
😆
Does this work on htaps and ctaps ? I've calledulwaukee no one can answer that ?
Can you use the crumpet on energized conductors up to 480 VAC?
Crimper *
$4500 lmao. No.
cpt awesome Yeah... this is probably a tool being marketed to companies, not the employees doing the work.

Yeah sorry, sticking to my Greenlee set. Not as fast, but crimps are perfect. Didn't cost 5k, oh, and it's paid for (and has paid for itself 5x over).
$4,500 you lost your damn mind
Why did the wire pop out during every crimp.?0
The power is just pushing the wire out instead of crimping directly
Does this work on hair
Yeah great for your neck as well 😂💀 jk
They are excellent tools

500 to 750? Why couldn't Milwaukee come up with 4/0 to 1000kcm? Look at the jaws. Why such a small range?
Are you serious 4,600?

One key is complete shit and should be discontinued.
In a 3 minute video ty showed 40 second of the tool and you can't even see the die actually crimping
