  • Gauteng premier's spokesperson Vuyo Mhaga and former health ombudsman Prof. Malegapuru Makgoba react to the Life Esidimeni Inquest. The inquest found that former Gauteng Health MEC Qedani Mahlangu and mental health head Dr Makgabo Manamela were negligent in the execution of their duties.
Prof. Makgoba: It's in the hands of the NPA to take a course it should take... It's criminal to take a patient from a hospital to an unlicensed place.
Mhaga: The lesson we have learned as the Gauteng health department is that whatever we do must be people-centred.

Jip my brother was murder at a hospital his head was bash with a bedpan. In the same week 11 PASIENTS LOST their lives. 5 nurses killed the them after 5year one came and apologized to suster inlaw. 2 commited suicide 2 end up in weskoppie mental hospital. The one that apologized said she is now a christian and have to live with that burden. So many people got murdered of all races colour and never will they come to book. So many stories it is a risk for people to go to a government hospital. Nursing standard is the same as the schools.
