    Hello! I am wondering, does this recipe and the chocolate cookie recipe mix well with food coloring please?

    • @Hanielas
      @Hanielas  Před 8 lety

      +Maeve Li I'm not sure what you mean, what colors do you want to color the dough. Chocolate one is very dark so it may not be possible to color it effectively. I haven't tried coloring peanut butter one, only sugar cookie one and that one works really well.

    • @maeveli8250
      @maeveli8250 Před 8 lety

      +Haniela's thank you. I am keen to try the peanut butter recipe as an alternative to sugar cookie recipe. I was wondering how gel food coloring would work on peanut butter cookie. Thank you for responding! :)

    So your back to putting wax paper under them anyway so your not saving money that way. For the price this mat is not worth it. you can get the painters sticks at home depot or any hardware store for free, and you already have the wax paper. If it was see through it would be cool for pie crusts, or fondant. Will try the recipe though, but pass on the matt it isnt worth it.

    • @kimdonnell1417
      @kimdonnell1417 Před 8 lety +1

      +Clyde Day I know this comment was 10 months ago, but... I got this mat for Christmas. I love it. I don't use wax paper or parchment. Just cut cookies out right on the mat. Super quick, no extra steps, no extra flour, just roll, cut, gather scraps and re roll until there isn't enough to get one more cookie out of it. Then virtually no mess

    • @ClydeDay
      @ClydeDay Před 8 lety

      Kim Donnell Yes but my comment was on the price, and clean up. with wax, or parchment paper you don't need extra flour either. this mat is way over priced when you can get 4 paint stirrers from the hardware store free, and a roll of parchment paper for 2$ that will last you a super long time, and the 2 pieces of parchment you use to roll the cookies out you can just pitch in the trash. The ONLY reason I can see getting this mat is for cakes to roll out fondant to put over the cake cause it has the circles on it.
