I’m American and made Yorkshire puddings with a roast and gravy at Christmas this year. It was good but they are very eggy. For some reason even though there’s no butter in the recipe I expected a buttery croissant flavor.

I’m so glad you finally went to Gumshara. I go every week, and the staff are so great. I don't know if anyone else noticed but the beef dish that you you guys got is called Beef Caldereta from the Asian station. It is a Filipino dish that is very common to serve to foreigners as a gateway dish into Filipino cuisine. Hope you enjoyed it. Keep on traveling I always love watching you guys talk about your eats and good finds on restaurants as you travel. Been watching for over a decade now.

If you ever visit the uk, definitely get a yorkshire pudding wrap. Basically a giant version of what you tried filled with roast meats, roast potatoes, veggies and gravy. SOOOO good!

Pot pie is common in the US. It's a pastry on top with filling under in a "pot" or in this case the little ramekin lol sometimes there is a bottom crust, sometimes not. Ours is usually more of a creamy sauce with chicken and veg though not red sauce like that one.

It’s a Yorkshire puddings. You have it with a roast dinner and fill it with gravy. It’s a pancake batter, poured into a muffin tray filled with a little bit of hot oil. Cook for 30 mins.
