Illumination Animated Villains: Evil to Most Evil
Although it’s villain repertoire isn’t quite as popular as the villains from Disney, Pixar or Dreamworks, Illumination still has more than a few notable baddies. They can be funny, intimidating and pretty dang evil - and it looks like we’re going to be getting a few more new villains in Illumination’s upcoming film, “Minions: The Rise of Gru”. Before that film comes out, however, we want to take a look at Illumination’s current villain line-up to see who ranks supreme.

I was blown away when I heard the original Onceler song “Biggering “

The 1972 version of the Onceler was really intimidating, even more than the 2012 version.
I think they’re both good songs, though How Bad Can I Be fits the final film a lot better. In an alternate universe, Biggering would totally kill as for a different version of the Once-ler’s villain song
When I first saw Minions, I was thinking Herb was going to betray Scarlet or she was going to betray him. I was pleasantly surprised when that didn’t happen.
On Jimmy Crystal's villains wiki page, it says "Crystal holds auditions for musical shows at his theatre, but it later turns out that if the directors of his shows don't give him what he wants, he is willing to make them pay for displeasing him, to the point of even trying to kill them". This somehow tells me that he has killed (or has attempted to kill) other animals in the past.

Darwin: Klaus (He doesn’t care that the musical will be ruined as long as he wins against Johnny,)
Envy: Grinch and Snowball (Their unhappiness against humanity being happy is why they’re villains.)
Wrath: Jimmy Crystal (Buster “humiliated” Porsha and that entitles Jimmy to attempt to kill him because if Porsha looked bad, he looked bad and he would throw Buster off a roof if the latter made him look bad.)
Lust: Jerry (He saw Jimmy naked and while the guards looked away, he didn’t.)
Pride: Vector ( He boasts about everything he has.)
Gluttony: El Macho (He ate the glass that served the alcohol and drank scorpion venom.)
Greed: Sergei or O Hare (While Sergei tortured Hu so the latter would perform well, O Hare used the lack of oxygen to make more money.)
Sloth: Onceler (This might be a stretch but he said he would chop down a few trees and instead of finding a way to get the Truffula trees without harming them, he just chops them down without finding a non destructive way.)

Personal headcanon: the reason Jerry says that he loves Jimmy Crystal at the end of Sing 2 is because he got a good view of Jimmy’s “goods” when he bursted into the room. I mean, he is nothing but a Yescat, but still…

El Macho would be ranked Silver Medal Most Powerful and the Vicious Six of Minions: The Rise of Gru would be ranked Gold Silver Most Powerful.

I knew it! Scarlet is the best! ❤❤❤❤❤Sure, she couldn't kill the minions, and was bested by a young Gru, but she is the most hilariously wicked of Illumination's villains. Sandra Bullock really put her all into Scarlet's over-the-top performance. Some "Despicable Me" critics prefer Vector, and Vector is indeed funny as a villain, but Scarlet rules. The only one that was still kind to her after all of her wickedness was Bob The Minion, who gave here his toy crown as a parting gift. Scarlet never deserved a more loving and caring friend like sweet loveable Bob.❣❣❣❣❣

@@The_Dragon-Human_hybrid Balthazaar Bratt is evil enough. He's also just hammy enough to take full exposure and credit for being dominant and insane. Scarlet just has that sense of female sexuality & dominance to drive male villains unruly. She's also a big ham as well , especially when she gets pissed that Bob Minion (accidentally) becomes king. Bob is very generous to give the kingdom (and England) to Scarlet, but Scarlet puts on an "ungrateful bitch" attitude that's enough to ensure her place as a terrifying villain. Even after Scarlet and Herb lost everything by the end of the movie, Bob was still kind enough to give her his toy crown that Queen Elizabeth awarded him. While Balthazaar tried to destroy Hollywood, Scarlet nearly wrecked London in her battle with giant minion Kevin. While we're on the subject of evil "Despicable Me" villains, what does anyone think of the new villains in the "Rise Of Gru " movie? Where does Wild Knuckles & the five other villains that left him for dead (and young Gru tried to audition for) rank on the list?
@@robertorick6383 I just like Balthazar Bratt more. After all,Bratt played 2 of my most favorite songs: Bad by Michael Jackson, and Take on Me by Aha! while Scarlet did not do any of that.

He hates that tune and doesn't consider it "heist" music. ) Scarlet's period of life was the mid-late 1960's, and The Beatles' "Revolution" was more of her speed (even if The Minions sort of hammed it up with their attempts at "singing". It was more like caterwauling in minion speak. "Poochie", indeed!) I like Balthazar, but Scarlet is that beatuiful babe with a killer instinct (the Brits in the mid-60's would refer to her as a "bird", meaning attractive girl during that swingin' England period.) She would kiss you, then she would torture you and leave you for dead. And she had her fab hubby Herb to back her up with badass inventions. As for the cast of new characters on "The Rise Of Gru", I already saw a separate "Good To Evil" video elsewhere on You Tube. You'll have to watch it to find out who's the most evil.
I don’t think Jerry would have been considered a villain. Sure, he works for Jimmy Crystal, but he often is kind. He tried to save Jimmy and towards the beginning of Sing 2, he politely asks the animals to get off stage when they’re buzzed. He even said he loved Mr. Crystal too

One quality you forgot to mention that makes Balthazar Bratt such a great villain is the performance of his voice actor Trey Parker. I mean even if he does sound like Randy Marsh, Bratt is far more competent at what he does than the former.

Awesome video wicked binge I like my boy Jimmy crystal got the bronze metal of evil but I was super surprised to see his assistant Jerry end up in this video I thought Jerry was to cowardly to be evil and it makes me wonder what he would of had been ranked in your sing/sing 2 good to evil list if he wasn't apsent from the list

Sandra Bullock definitely had the best voice for a Illumination villain. She really enjoyed her role as Scarlet. And she did it for her (then) seven-year old son who was a fan of The Minions.

I really did enjoy their interpretation of The Grinch. Yeah, more silly, but it’s also sweet, funny, and I loved the backgrounds. It’s a nice movie.

Balthazar Bratt would be the lowest for me because he could've killed probably several hundred thousand people, people are all innocent, if his plan hadn't failed along with him obviously knowing he would kill that many people. Other than that I come agree with your list.
