You are seriously wrong, he is super excited to to see my daughter, that is not an unhappy noise (idiot) Boo is not aggressive at all, LMAO and you think Boo is going to bite our face off? Really? Please hold your breath while you wait for that to happen! Every noise he makes in this video is VERY HAPPY noises from a monkey! when he makes noises he opens mouth, so you can see his teeth, he brushes them, see how pretty they are!

I'm not an expert on primates by any means but, from the way he voluntarily jumped in Alyssa's arms, and the facial expressions and squeals, I would tend to think this expresses happiness and not a "fear grimace." Animals are very perceptive; they know when you like them. Not likely that Boo being the highly intelligent being that he is would jump into the arms of someone that would represent harm Just the opinion of an animal lover.
you just have to understand, to be fair to the monkey, you are making a serious commitment. Boo could live 30 to 40 years or even more. It's everyday, if someone has really thought it thru and they can financially take care of monkey, they won't change their minds 3 years into it and they know they can give him love and show patience in dealing with the lifestyle, it is a life style or "way of life" then I may recommend a monkey as a pet.

WHAT? Connie, he's totally in Heaven here. When a Capuchin isn't happy their sounds are completely different. His squeaks are very much happy squeaks. You said he didn't look happy towards the end of the video. That's where he's looking at all the attention and totally enjoying all of the interaction. Capuchins are very social. Boo's probably one of the most social monkeys I've ever seen. I have a problem telling someone they are wrong without firsthand experience unless it's blatant cruelty.

Boo should have been on the cheer squad! I just can’t get enough of him! While working, or waiting in line at the market or inbetween working on my laptop at home I end up coming back watching more of him!! I just can’t help it but Boo’s helping me! I got our beagle wuppy on my lap watching Boo with me !!

Believe me, Boo has an unhappy SCREAM and you hear it just like you do all little kids--when they are at the doctor's getting their vaccinations.

+Shelley Hillier I meant the same thing, for God's sake you don't have to curse me! I have watched all of Boo's videos and know that he is very well loved and well cared for, and as happy as it is possible for him to be outside of nature with his mom and siblings. All I was saying was that on the rare occasions Boo IS scared or furious or hurting, he has a very distinct scream that lets everybody know he is very VERY stressed, like before getting shots at the vet. I think he gets the best home care I have seen any primate pet get. I just disagree with the whole premise of keeping any wild animal as a pet unless it was orphaned and this was the only way to give him any quality of life. I think Boo has a very rich quality of life.

MonkeyBoo and doubleaceshigh - my goodness what does it mean when I am happy ad my teeth show? Perhaps there is some magic book someplace that tells you doubleaceshigh what that means...even if I am laughing...btw, monkeys mimic what we do and he hears our laughter and to him he makes his 'noise' in return. I appreciate being able to share in MonkeyBoo's happiness, in whatever he may be doing. If people had a clue as to the loving work that goes into training an animal to this extent they would be watching in awe.

Your vids are very interesting. I have some questions. How old is boo? And I don't know much about monkeys as pets but I have heard that once they reach a certain age, they turn on you and become violent. Do you fear that might happen with Boo? Anyways, keep up the good work. I'm so jealous of you. I wish I had a loving pet.

Hey, what do you advise to those who are jealous of your pet? I am jealous of your pet, but at the same time you tell us we don't want a monkey. I want an animal, a companion. My cat doesn't pay attention to me. I want an animal with character. Boo is the bomb.

of course i dont know for sure because i dont know them personally but i would guess that boo spends most of his time with the parents. so he would be more excited to see her if shes always leaving which it seems like she would be if shes still in school and cheerleading and whatever else. just a guess, but it happens that way with dogs too, and dogs and monkeys are similar in that they get extremely attached to their families.
