No, thank YOU Nancy for being the best ever. For me it was Sox and Hawks games and you made them special. Not to mention every time we met you were always gracious, friendly, and fun. Who else would've played "Light My Fire" when Jim Morrison came up to bat?

My parents were major fans of yours, when you used to play at the old stadium. A lot of people have such fond memories of when they used to watch a lot of Blackhawks and Bulls games, as well as listen to you and Frank, play that organ, in that stadium, and I can't get enough of them.

What a privilege it was to hear you play it! Quick Question: Did you get to know Harvey Wittenberg at all over the years?

Nancy Faust should be the organist at United Center in my opinion

Nancy Faust is a Chicago sports legend.
I loved her "Morning Train" / Sheena Easton rendition I'd always hear at old Comiskey Park.

Being a Chicago boy. Born in 80. I was fortunate enough to live right by Comiskey Park. I went to 100s games.
Blackhawks were maybe 1 or 2 a month. I wouldn't trade it for anything

Me too, lived across the street from Donavon park born in the 60’s though. Good memories, watched fire works from my house. Old Comiskey park, where Nancy played too.

Nancy was always a pro. The Blackhawks organ is a shell of it’s former self.

wow, how wonderful was that clip Skif??? Maybe your best ever... and yes, for the record, i was totally in love with Nancy back then! I grew up a White Sox fan in the late sixties and early 70's, and the memories of sitting in that ballpark with Nancy belting her timeless tunes are priceless. Then, when i was 18 (1980/81) , i got season tickets for the Hawks and not too much later on Nancy became the Hawks organist as well and the rest is history. Her mind was so sharp, her timing impeccable, and her sense of humor was brilliant. (Plus just add the fact that she was just so darn cute and her smile was lovely!) . Thank you Nancy for all you did for Chicago sports entertainment and TY Skif for this very cool post on CZcams brother. :)

Why thank you for your kind words and support - and background. And it goes without saying that I agree with everything re: Nancy.
P.S. - Would have loved to have gone to Comiskey Park to see the White Sox in 1969-1970 in my favorite baseball uniform of all time, the royal blue-and-white togs that lasted only two seasons before they went to the garish red pinstripes.

@@skifusya2814 100% agree; i still have all my old baseball cards and the royal blue Sox years cards were my fav as well!

The Billy Joel song is "Pressure". The Bangles song when the zamboni was stalled is "Walk Like An Egyptian".

Thanks for sharing these Nancy clips. Do you happen to have anything Bulls-related from the 1980s? SportsVision, etc. Games, ads and the like.
