Fr and it's so amazing to see a show fans like us have backed for 4 years is getting amazing traction! I agree, watch the pilot episode if ya can, it shows just how far this project has come and how amazing that all the effort of past and present actors and staff of this labor of love culminates in this BANGER of a show!
But to be honest this show should have redone the pilot because most people who have never seen it will go straight into the show

When you guys get to know Rosie (the overlord who terrifyingly smiled at Frank) better, you'll realize that, as terrifying as her smile was, it was genuinely meant to be a friendly smile. Rosie is a sweetheart... she is among the friendliest and most personable overlords. Not her fault that her choppers make every attempt to look as approachable as she is more or less impossible to manage.

Of course, she'd previously never actually visited Cannibal Town to see their GOOD side before... probably due to only ever having seen them at their worst as they ventured outside Cannibal Town to hunt and understandably assuming Cannibal Town to be a bloody horrifying nightmare she never wanted to see.

I mean, as Charlie walks up to Rosie she's coaching and consoling a Cannibal woman who's upset and regretful because she lost control and tried to eat her husband and, apparently, successfully ate _both of his arms._ Rosie finishes up with the promise that if she brings 'tall, dark, and armless' over she'll 'see him good as new.'
The implication is, the Cannibals are totally harmless, decent, even pleasant people... _until they get hungry. Then they _*_totally_*_ lose control of themselves_ and do things like what Charlie encountered them doing during Happy Day in H-ll.

I mainly ment that its a nice place for HELL like compared to the rest and how for some reason they give it like the worst reputation
Y'know, I understand why ppl in the comments are saying the pilot is super necessary to watch this show, but tbh I think the fact that so many people have watched, understood and enjoyed it without having even heard of the pilot is a testament to its quality as a show, that it doesnt have to completely ride the coattails of the pilot's internet success to be enjoyable. A lot of elements from the pilot aren't canon or have been retconned in some way anyhow, it provides some context but I dont think its, like, mandatory viewing really lol, not unless you're particularly interested in the lore of the world and development of the show
The only thing that the Pilot has that the shows doesn't that I think would be good to know going in is why Alastor is there and him being why Husker and Niffty are there. I myself didn't watch the Pilot till after finishing the show. So that's my opinion. Also Alastor is my favourite character, no matter what ulterior motive he has. It was nice to see two different version of why he's known as "The Radio Demon". Though there very simular.
Yea it’s not necessarily mandatory for people to watch the pilot all it really does is basically introduce Alastor and crew but that’s really it

@@chiannecoleman5546 I watched the pilot back when it came out (I was in a digital arts/animation degree program at the time so it was pretty big amongst my peers and one of the professors at my school actually worked on a few Helluva episodes) and found it pretty... Fine. I thought it was impressive for an independent project, but I was unsure at how successful it could be as a full show, so I remained cautiously optimistic. The show itself has really blown me away despite how little I remembered from the pilot going in lol

Little fun fact about Angel- when you asked “Where did the gun come from??” in episode two, he was a 1940’s gangster, so the guns tend to go with him. This is seen again when other arms emerge with more guns in episode four.

Charlie is in hell because she is hellborn. There are the sinners, who died on earth and came to hell and there are the hellborns, that were born there. Imps, Hellhounds, the Goisha family etc are hellborn (Viziepop explores them more in helluva boss, another series).

‼️ I know this is an older video but I'm really hoping they make as the first woman, Lilith into the most toxic form of femininity just like Adam as the first man embodies a lot of the traits of toxic masculinity. So I'm really hoping they go that same direction with Lilith and have her be extremely manipulative and two-faced. Anyone who has been a middle school girl knows how evil toxic feminity can be.

I really hope you guys go back and watch the pilot on CZcams, but yes, this show is amazing. Especially episode 4. "Loser, Baby" is the best song in the show by far. Keith David and Blake Roman have great voices, and I love the message. It's not your usual, "cheer up, things will get better" song. It's more realistic. Yeah, Angel's life is screwed up, but at least he's not alone. He now has someone who understands that he can look to for support.

@@AlLuci_ i disagree with the looser baby being the best song, its a good song, just like angel is a good character, but people tend to over exagerate how good both of these are, and sometimes it even gets annoying (like all the lilith sht), i'm much more a hell is forever, stayed gone, hell's greatest dad, you didnt know and out for love, also think the best characters are lucifer, carmilla and emily, despite how of them shown (with the exception of lucifer to a point) the little screen time they did have was enough to leave a mark.
I mean yeah ı agree with you there.its not the best but my favs are Hell is forever, Hell's greatest dad , you didn't know, Looser baby & Alastor's Reprise but that's in the pilot idk the color's & the style is so good and it just sounds so good to my ear. That's my top 5 ı think.and yes the best character's for me is Lucifer my little duck boy & he's so sexy with Alastor ( please don't question me😖) Alastor, Carmilla and the list goes on. i hope we get more of them in s2.

Overlords are sinners (souls that were human before they died), that have amassed more power than your average sinner, usually by dealing in souls. Overlords, like Alastor are very powerful when compared to hells average citizen, and they usually have dominion over an industry (for example, Valentino runs the porn industry, and Camilla is the top weapons dealer in hell so she has a monopoly on hells weapons). With that being said, they are nothing when compared to the political authority and abilities of higher ranked demons like Lucifer and Charlie. The reason Valentino shows no hostility openly to Charlie is because she outranks him, both politically and in power. If Charlie had wanted she could have killed Valentino in that moment.

I think it's hard to say if Charlie can kill a sinner because she is not a 100% true angel. Lucifer however can kill a sinner. I could be wrong on this but, if she had powers to kill sinners permanently, and also angles why didn't she use it during EP 8 instead of a weapon if I remember correctly. But this is speculation, not facts, so take this with a grain of salt.
@@FlipMinotaur Charlie chooses not to be violent but she could eliminate basically everyone with only her farther as an adversary. Note that in the last episode she used no Angelic weapons when fighting Adam but still cut him with her 🔱 trident. She made a blessed Angelic/Demonic weapon out of her own magic and damaged one of Heavens top souls

First of all, love that you guys are reacting to this fantastic show. But umm guys...please don't forget to watch the PILOT episode. It's AMAZING and it's what started it all. The OG cast put a lot of effort and love into it. So please do watch it when you can. It really shows how this show has been a long time coming and how fans love it so much.

@@dotthedot9080 as some who watched the HBH pilot when it came out, ive never seen a single episode helluva boss, but absolutely lost my shit when i found out they finally released a HBH series because of how long we had to wait for it and then got our hopes crushed a few times thinking it got picked up when it didn't, it's been a crazy wait, but I'm happy helluva boss has been a good show for some to watch during the anticipation filled waiting 😁

A spin-off show, Helluva Boss, the Pilot for that came out a year later, and is still going, and it remains exclusive to CZcams, so episodes take longer to come out.

Following the pilot 5 years ago, watching the spin off and its pilot (helluva boss) also which came out 5 years ago, and now both shows having full episodes is amazing :) helluva boss is by the same creator and takes place in the same universe but not as much of a cross over and is here on CZcams in its entirety :) it has songs in it as well :) helluva boss was not taken on by an a big studio like Amazon, its been getting episodes released here on YT over the past few years. Now this show, hazbin hotel, we’ve all been waiting for literally since its pilot in 2019 🤧✨

People are allowed to like a bad or evil character. However, when people start to support, justify, or replicate their bad or evil actions, thats when it starts to become a problem.
People can like characters like
Adam or Val, but supporting their actions and words is not ok.
This also goes with other "evil" or "bad" characters from other media.

i feel like even though Charlie is hellborn (because shes a being born in hell, so shes not a sinner) she takes a lot after lucifer. he was originally an angel who saw the good in everyone, everything, loved to create and build, to dream, new things good or bad. heaven didn't like that and pretty much made him out be the black sheep of his heaven.
i feel like that where she gets her pure like nature from, its like a lot of it transferred into her when she was born, which is why she's not like other hellborn or sinful souls that come to hell.
