I have to correct a mistake if you go into each corner with 2 stitches a chain and 2 stitches you WILL be increasing by 16 and not 8 Round 7 will increase by 8
the rows are as follows
row 1 - 50 stitches row 2 - 66st row 3 - 82st row 4 - 98st row 5 - 111st row 6 - 126st row 7 - 135st I do apologies for the mistake.
Thank you
I made 4 of these little cardigans over the weekend, I crochet for a charity who had asked for cardigans so found this video at the right time, love how you actually make a garment , not just a blanket 💕
You are so welcome! the blankets are more popular I'm going to try this cardigan in a front post stitch to see how it turns out.
Thank you so much Alison this has been fun, now going to make one for myself ❤
Love that pink one!!! Thanks for sharing! Love the cardigan for a baby gift for a friends new son. Perfect timing!
Such a lovely start to whatever garment you choose to do. I would love to make an adult cardigan so I look forward to learning how to size the yoke for larger sizes. Congratulations on your upcoming grand baby

Allison I just learned on a u tube tutorial we do not have to use ch3 och2 for a dbc you ch1 pull up a little size of a ch2 and turn and do your first dbc looks very straight and exspeccialy no gaps it's on Maggie's crochet I was trying to figure it out so I would straight edges everytime and I seen that and then I now know it will work
ADORABLE !!!

Allison maybe I'm wrong , but if you start with 48 st and add 4 that's 52 ,I thought I was wrong with my count until I read comments , thanks for your time in doing this tutorial .I have made many of your blankets .x
HI ALLISON LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU ARE ABLE, TO MAKE A YOKE ADULT AND WHAT HOOK SIZE TO USE. 😀
Hi thankyou for you videos I find them really easy to watch and crochet you have a lovely calming voice. Have you got the pattern for the white bobble stitch cardigan? ❤
no sorry but if you google Download free bobble stitch cardigan pattern you might find a few free ones to download
Do you happen to have a written pattern for the yolk & cardigan?
Allison have you put the video out for the bottom of the cardigan .
Can we use this concept for adult clothing
Great video. I was wondering what the yoke would look like with US half-double crochet stitches?
good but you have to do more rounds as its a smaller stitch but also do a few with no increases to get it to the same size
What hook and chains to use for a 5t or 6 for little girls
Hi Alison i'm the same as Gillian with following your patterns but rows 5, 6 and 7 are coming up a different amount i have row 5 - 114, row 6 - 130 and row 7 - 138 not sure if i have gone wrong somewhere all the other rows have worked out right with the corrections
thats ok i said 8 increase but meant 16 increase it was my mistake as i was also doing one with just 1 treb 1 chain 1treb in corners every row.
I'm having alot of trouble finding tutorial for bottom of cardigan .
the tutorial is in the next video its already on my channel it will be above this one
I am usually quite good at following your videos but this one has me foxed. If you are putting 2xtreble, chain 1, 2xtreble increase in each corner then you cant increase by 8 each row as you are increasing by 4 per corner which with 4 corners is 16 per row.
your right Gillian, Previously I was experimenting with the corners doingg1st 1 chain and 1 st . I do apologize for the mistake these are the row counts ha ha ha if I counted them correctly this time you WILL be increasing by 16 and not 8 Only Round 7 will increase by 8
the rows are as follows
row 1 - 50 stitches row 2 - 66st row 3 - 82st row 4 - 98st row 5 - 111st row 6 - 126st row 7 - 135st row 7 only increases by 8 st I do apologies for the mistake.
@@AlisonRussellsCrochetChannel lol i was worried i was going mad. Phew nearly chucked my hooks in the bin
Sorry, but numbers still don’t add up . 50 +16 =66+16=82+16=98+16=114130 row 7 130+8=138
