  • Hello there! This past month was a great one up here at Cerro Gordo! We had a lot of experts come to look for things like water, gold, and wood. We made progress on a lot of projects and even started some new ones.
Thank you all so so much for all the support over the years. It means the world to me!
Check out Jason at ‪@mbmmllc‬ and Dan at ‪@Danhurd‬ !

It’s pretty cool, how you can monetize your endeavors-I’m not business savvy, so I just don’t think that way, but I don’t hate on it. I’ve been working for a year and a half to try to teach people that every single loose stone is actually and artifact- fashion by the ancient people. I learned how to see in North Carolina when they were destroying an indigenous mound, it’s not a fantastic story, because the entire town had to watch them destroy it.. but I’m trying to make something good come out of it. ❤

Brent, how about a handicap ♿️ trail where a disabled person can ride a side by side! I'm one of those disabled people and I can't walk more than 20ft. I love the outdoors and I'm finding out what things work for me and other disabled people. Cerro Gordo is on my bucket list!! I'd seriously consider what someone else mentioned a couple videos ago - the pump you have in the mine is insufficient for the distance you need to lift the water up - Swapping the pump out for a piston pump (or, overhaul the one that's already in the mine - an engine rebuilder could probably do this work!) is going to be the cheapest (and most reliable) option for you right now, especially as there aren't many people living in Cerro Gordo

@@Sixta16 The only one I can recall him mentioning is the old piston pump which doesn't work right now (likely worn out and needs a full teardown and rebuild) - I think there might have been another pump (think it was centrifugal) before the current one, but it too was underpowered.

Nobody has an idea of the science behind it, because there isn't any. There's no water dowsing theory, no scientific articles on that matter except for ones debunking it (and one that supposedly confirmed it, but then it got debunked in another paper that explained methodological errors that were made). Ask different dowsers how it works and you will get contradictory answers.

I was sceptical until I was shown how to do it - we were working in Jordan, our equipment never turned up to check the ground for buried objects where we needed to dig with back hoes (cables, pipes, concrete, large metal explody things (was a Jordanian Airfield that had been bombed by israel)
Out of 10 of us three could actually find something - I had no idea what I was detecting all I knew was that at the back of my heels was something - so we would dig more coreful and with more than one banksman -
freaked me out to start, the Jordanian Airforce we were working with thought it was witchcraft - I was using two bits of galvanised fence wire I straightened - since then I have used copper wire, welding rods, steel and aluminum round bar as well as many pieces of fence wire.
I cant explain it, no idea what I am detecting just know that somehow it worked - when I came back to the UK we spent 20k trying to find a cable buried on the airfield - they could not, so I gave it a go and found it within 10 minutes, followed the whole length and even found it had a large coil buried at one point.
Since then I have searched for and found buried drains, cables, water pipes - I cant explain it, just know I found them and left a few sceptics unable to explain how

Dowsing for water does not work the way the man in your video is showing. Liquids that are flowing underground produce a magnetic field that are parallel to their motion. Metal rods work like the needle on a compass and will try to align themselves with a magnetic field. A lot of underground water (aquifers) are like a slow moving river flowing along the bedrock toward the ocean. If there is enough water moving fast enough then dowsing rods will detect the flow.

      Water witchers work...
My parents bought a 2.5 parcel in the mountains and hired a 80+ year old man who was a water witcher. He found a spot a stake it off. They then hired the well company to drill the well. The company wanted to drill in a different spot but my parents refused. so the company drill where the water witcher staked off. In about a 120 ft they hit water. once they broke through it gushed out like a fountain. The driller was amazed and said we hit a double underground stream that crossed each other and was rare.
I used divining rods as a demonstration that they work and placed a coin in my parents hallway. The hallway was dark and you couldn't see the floor. I found the coin when I felt the rods vibrate.

Brent, I just wanted to let you know. Your journey at Cerro Gordo is more than you can imagine. You are just not a small part of a town or a youtube channel. You started like everyone in 2020. Doubt, fear confusion about the future. The hotel burning and being rebuilt and your many journeys over the past years and the many well place positive thoughts and shared perspectives have helped grow a community that spans the globe. A community who's lives have been touched in many ways by your channel. I have watched since you posted your first video and some day I will load my family into the car drive 4 days to say thank you and enjoy a sunset.

In Australia, gold prospectors looked for vertical stratafication laced with quartz, and from there nearby searched for "deep leads" which is ancient defunct buried river beds that cut across the vertical strata and carved out gold bearing rock. They would generally begin with angled or horizontal strata and keep following along until it went vertical and bam there was the gold. Once they found that they would run it down like water table sorter thing below the crushers.
