I want to share my experience hihihi
I was an shs stem student in ust and my dream course is medtech sana doon and syempre mapabilang sa accelerated programs. I only applied for intarmed and leapmed lang that time kase un lang alam ko, and hindi ko rin kase alam na meron din pala ang dlsu which is humbio. I thought na makakapasa ako sa ustar through "exemption thru qualified grades" (medyo proud pa nga me na maququalify since matataas naman g11 and g12 grades ko), kaso hindi daw aligned ung strand ko dun sa course na pinili dapat daw pala HA ang strand para maging applicable ung exemptions keme and ung score ko din ang baba (around 7k lang)... kaya ayun may galit ako sa ust HAHAHAHAHA (actually maraming stem students ang nagrarant since madami saamin ang hindi nakapasok sa mga premed courses)
Hindi rin ako qualify sa leapmed at intarmed kase sino ba namn ako diba?? although pasado ako sa up public health and nursing, the problem is hindi ko namn sila dream course (pero nakapagconfirm na ako ng slot for public health para safe na may school na ako SHHSHSHSHS)
After ng mga rejections, nagkaroon ng special app si dlsu. So ayun nagresearch ako kung ano ba mga undergrad meron sila and na intrigue ako nung nakita ko human biology. And yupp nagapply ako and inaayos ka talaga ung personal statement kooo (ung tipong paawa effect HAHAHAHAH, feeling ko nga pinaplastic ko sa sarili ko ih). tas netong july 5 result day, di ko na ineexpect na maququalify ako since baka wala na or kunti na lang slots for humbio kase nga accelerated siya tas special app pa. Pero guess what nakapasa akoo. Super happy ko talaga nung time na yun since parang dlsu lang ung tumanggap saken ng buo 💗
Lesson:
1.) Huwag mawalan ng pag-asa. Kung niluwa ka man, huwag magalala may tatanggap at tatanggap sau.
Eto ung naging mantra ko heheheheh --> Rejected from something good was actually being redirected to something better
2.) Kaka ust cutie ko sa fb at twitter di tuloy ako natanggap 🙄🤣
Buti may gantong students na kahit sobrang busy, nagagawa pang gumawa ng info videos about sa incoming college students. Thankyouuu, hulog kayo ng langit😭❤️

Hello good day to you Ma'am may I ask is this accelerated program (BS Human Biology) of DLSU is still available rn 2022 or even in the future? I am only in Junior High but I am sure what I want to be in the future which is doctor and I am interested in taking this BS Human Biology accelarated program in the future when I go to college. And I am not sure if DLSU still have this accelerated program. Thank you for your time... and your video helped me more about this accelerated program. :D

@@caffeinex6419 magkaiba sila, afaik med bio is sa dasma while humbio yung 2 yrs mo sa taft then sa 3rd yr, llipat na sa dlshsi.

Hello po ate! Really blessed to discover your channel! It has been my life long dream to become a medical doctor too, and your videos helped and inspired me to keep on doing my best T^T Even though my goal is to get into the accelerated program I still have to consider choosing a pre-med, and I also thought of nursing too. How did you decide po to take up nursing? And so far how is your experience? May I also ask po how did you prepare in SHS? Currently a STEM 11 student po and I'm worried about the future applications and such :')) All the best to you ate
i appreciate you !! i'm happy that i got to help you ^0^ nursing for me is the best choice, since decided naman na ako magmmed school so helpful yung matututunan talaga sa nursing in terms of experience and lessons ba gamit talaga.
as for preparations, better na prepare the usually needed documents ahead of time. huwag na hintayin deadline before makapagpasaaa ^___^

@@mystichikari4544 sa college appli ko noon, leapmed lang naman tinake ko na exam and the rest puro paperworks lang ippass. as for external scholarships, ayun din collect agad lahat ng reqs para makapagpass agad kasi marami ring nagaapply. as for extra-curriculars, let's say para siyang plus din talaga sa application mo to show that you are a well-rounded student pero i think oks lang naman na wala masyado nun if wala talaga certs.

it's not necessarily needed pero syempre better na may extra-curriculars. sa application portals nasa sayo naman kung magllagay ka or not.
Hi Ate! I really hope you see my comment huhu. Your video really helped me a lot! But i have a question po, ang dream ko kasi is to be a Pediatrician. I'm still 15 years old and graduating student na ako next year and magiging shs na pero i'm worried about my course. I just wanted to ask if example pumasa ako sa humbio, and after 6 or 7 years, magiging Pediatrician na po ba ako? naguguluhan kasi ako if pediatrics is included sa humbio like kung aaralin ba yung pediatrics dun. hii, pediatrician is kind of a specialization already kumbaga once you finish your med-accelerated program, you'll take the physicians licensure exam. then kapag pumasa, apply for residency sa hospital of your choice and research ka nalang abt there peds (pediatrics) program. 😊

hiii !! for dlsu humbio and up intarmed, no exam last yr. dependent talaga sa grades siguro na ipapasa mo pero alam ko sa intarmed may interview sila. si leapmed yung may exam na may interview pa and yung sa leapmed exam namin noon, normal exam siya na multiple choice tas di pwede balikan questions once nag-next ka na. about all things med like anaphy, chem, physics, zoology, botany, yung topics sa exam.

Does dlsmhsi offer bs human biology for the a.y. 2022-2023? I tried to apply on their website but there is no bs human biology offered in the courses offered. Thank you!!!
humbio is offered in dlsu-taft. when applying, you should apply using dlsu-mnl's registration portal.
hello po, meron na ngayon sa hsi na course bs in life sciences major in human biology (4 yr program). Pero if want mo mag pursue ng med sa hsi, ang alam ko po may secured slot na sila for you
@Kiszie Bernados I watched your whole video and seen your frustration regarding your decision upon transferring schools due to tuition problems.
Why not ask La Salle if you are still possible to be readmitted and ask Ched if you are still eligible to get the scholarship?
If you still want to be an "MD", why not purse that track na may scholarship pa naman kung sakali, right?
parang mas magastos at matagal kung dun ka sa typical na halos 8 to 9 years.
actually po, i could enroll for term 2 or 3 noon sa dlsu since valid parin naman po acceptance ko kaso the thing with the scholarships (like dost) po hindi parin sila magiging enough to fund even a yr in dlsu. the st. la salle grant would suffice po sana kaso even after many many reappeals to no avail po. same point po regarding the overall gastos of 6 yrs vs the traditional route of 8-9 years kaso di talaga kaya ng finances ng fam namin to support that.
ay ganon, napaka-expensive pala sa La Salle.

yes, meron both physics and chem pero more on foundations naman like gas laws etc. natanggap namin scores ng tests mismo after namin magsubmit agad.

Hi!!! Pwede pa po ba makapagtake ng mga programs na'to kahit 1st college na? Plano ko po kasi magtransfer and magtake if possible....◉‿◉
sadly, no po. you are only able to apply to these med-accelerated programs on your first year. they don't accept transferees po.
Hi, ate! If it’s okay with you po, may I ask anong general average niyo from grade 9, 10, and 11? And for UST po, if walang certificates binigay for extra curriculars, what other document ang pwedeng i-attach to serve as evidence, po? ☺️
92, 93, 95, 98 for gr 9-12 as for the extra-curriculars, certificate lang kasi talaga pruweba so if wala, better na wag mo na ilagay :((

they emailed the successful applicants lang afaik. it's up to UP kasi talaga sino mga pipiliin eh :

you just need to click yes dun sa application portal ng UP asking if you're interested sa intarmed. automatic na yun na applicant kang icconsider nila.

depende if tanggapin ka ng med school na lilipatan mo kasi if not, no choice but to either retake a course siguro kasi you'll only get your hum bio diploma sa 3rd yr eh

hi !! walang appli fee for humbio itself. ang babayaran mo lang is 600 for the appli fee ng buong degree choices mo kumbaga entrance fee lang ganun ang peg.

@@krishbernados pwede pa po mag ask? confused pa po kasi ako,,,, nasa step 4 na po kasi ako ng dlsu dasma ng online application, and naka indicate po doon na for confirmation of admission slot na po ako, it means po ba na qualified to enrol na po ako sa dlsudasma once nakapareserve na po ako ng slot for my course? hindi po ba siya same sa dlsu-m na maghihintay ng specific dates for approval na nakapasa po ang student sa kanilang online application?
How about po after IntarMed can i proceed to Residency while doing the return service?
unfortunately not, may new provision na kasi ang up abt that na need muna tapusin talaga rsa bago magwork o kaya proceed to residency, etc.
