Haven't we reached a stage were all grips are all modifiable with furniture that has a universal attachment standards . Your fave grip should be on any bow from any manufacturer
I ordered a bowtech flat dark earth, I will enjoy it soon. Next to two log bow's, one hanter and one hoyt carbon 34 "it will be something like a grave closure of a wardrobe with arches.
I love my Carbon Icon. I wonder how much of an improvement this bow is over it? I see the changed the grip a little and put a dampener on the bottom. That is about it. The grip was a bit square on the Icon, but am used to it.
Okay I'm new to archrey so please forgive my dumb question (lol). Why does the zion only have 2 limbs where as most others have 4 (2 up top and 2 on the bottom). I want a zion real bad as a backup bow but I feel ill be laughed at for having a bow that is not what you typically see
My well maintained, babied diamond liberty from 07 delaminated at half draw at the bottom axle.. too many limb issues with bowtech for me. Bit the arrow and got a v3.
Still shooting a Carbon Overdrive from 2013. The riser is a little off, because my center shot is not parallel to the riser even though it shoots bullet holes through paper and broadhead and field points are perfectly aligned. I really can't justify a new bow unless it is super cheap. And I picked up the Overdrive for about half price used.
There are a multiple factors that can attribute to your bow shooting well when not perfectly center shot. This is not abnormal and usually has more to do with cam lean and shooting form/grip than actual flaws in the bow. Every bow I have owned has tuned best for me with my arrow rest set up so that the arrow points slightly left. That includes Hoyt, Bowtech, and Bear bows.
Still shoot my carbon knight & all the rest of the bows that followed are just the same bow with a different name.Still love it though & still shoots sweet
Don't get any BowTech that has polymer limb pockets mine blew up after two arrows when I drew back on the 3rd it exploded cost me some stitches and time at work also BowTech said that it was a manufacturing error
I just bought the carbon. They both shoot almost exactly the same. But the lighter bow is what sold me. Plus I don’t need to adjust it. I’m not growing or building arm strength. If I didn’t hunt out west or shot mostly targets I might have saved a little money and went the other way. But after 10 miles in Colorado a pound makes a difference. Just my 2 cents.
Are we going to see anything new for the Bowtech flagship models for 2021? If so, any word when this would be? Thank you from the Hunter Valley, NSW Australia.
@@derekbereza Thank you for your reply. I appreciate it greatly. As I'm looking to purchase a new bow. I still shoot a Bowtech Admiral 2009 currently. Still to this day! I I've had people ask if I would sell it. Not at all! It's served me well! Once again thank you for your reply.👍🍻
Bowtech needs a complete redesign on the carbon risers. The knight/Icon/Zion riser is a tired design and there are so many similar Bowtech/Diamond carbon riser bows out there that you are probably better off buying used and saving a few bucks than buying a rehashed design just because the cams look a little different. Bowtech should have made a new carbon riser for the Amplify and maybe used the same riser on a more expensive bow with high end features.
Why would they? The Zions 1+lb lighter, better looking, and has less vibrations and shock than other composite bows for $200+ less and sells a lot more at shops also. Everyone else with carbon bows are 33+ ATA, bad brace height/silly design limbs for and the same or lower IBO speed and more money than these, or are trying to have too many things going on at once and sacrifice too much. These are as smooth as anything else too. Theres not much they can do anymore. Bows technology has hit a performance plateau big time everywhere except in crossbows
Personally I’d stay away from any Bowtech carbon riser bow. Check out the video I posted on CZcams about my Carbon Overdrive. The riser has warped making in practically useless, at the very least dangerous.
Just FYI, this info is BACKWARDS about the FlipDisc. Per the Bowtech Manual: If you want the "Performance" setting, it should say "Performance" on the INNER SIDE of limb, NOT the Top/Outer side as he says in the video. Same with the "Comfort" setting. To achieve this it should say "Comfort" on INNER SIDE of Limbs. Hope this helps.-
@UCLodeISZGq7rmkz83PdsCBw Correct. I also just looked up the Amplify. So both models have "Flip Disc" but 2 different versions. Who says the internet is just fighting? Together we figured it out! Long time customer by the way
Im still using my bowtech assassin .... 6 bucks . 2 coyotes . And a couple pine trees ..
the assassin is probably bowtech's best bow of all time
6 bucks what a great deal
I'm a newbie and I bought the amplify. So far its great and I'm getting ready to plan my first bow hunting trip .
I just got one (carbon Zion)I love it man!
I enjoy shooting my Bowtech Assassin. Not ready to give it up yet. It was a good video. Thanks
One of the most underrated sleeper bows ever made and Ive owned multiple premium bows over the past 20yrs.

You got the flip disc backwards? Performance on inner part of the limbs is for performance mode

Why no peep sight on bowtechs? Can you put one on no problem?
So it’s an updated Carbon Icon, now if bowtech could only deliver my wife’s Carbon Icon, which they have had on order for 12 weeks
Im more curious about those new trophy ridge sights....
Wondering exactly same
Still shoot my carbon knight & all the rest of the bows that followed are just the same bow with a different name.Still love it though & still shoots sweet
Well done sire!
I'm still shooting the Bowtech Carbon Knight. Almost unchanged to the Zion.
Can I get the modules for the deploy?
Looks like the same bow
Looks exactly like the carbon icon. Whats the diff??
New cam
How much let off does it have the amplify
Don't get any BowTech that has polymer limb pockets mine blew up after two arrows when I drew back on the 3rd it exploded cost me some stitches and time at work also BowTech said that it was a manufacturing error
how does the Zion compare to the icon?
Is the amplify available in left hand
Is diamond archery making 2021 bow
If it was your own money- which of these two would you purchase?

They should ditch a few of their models and focus on improving the Realm. Maybe a 5 in brace height on the sr6. Offer both 6-5 bh.
What kinda let off do you get on both bows?
85%
Is the Zion not the carbon icon????
Different cams, but yeah, the riser seems the same...
looks almost the same but the Zion is more expensive
Why pronounce Lancaster as Langster?
Nice Bows ¡¡¡
What’s the msrp of the zion
Currently for sale at our pro shop for $649.

For the Zion, you are correct sir! I do indeed have it backwards. Our explanation for the Amplify is accurate.

@@PatchedRoundBall Thanks for pointing this out! Accuracy is what we want above all else.....
Zion is just a icon with flip disc cams
Icon has got flip disc cams.
@@walterrademeyer9507 i stand corrected
Looks like a Z7 if you stare at it
😂😂 what are you talking about😂😂 I have both. A Z7 and a Bowtech Zion🏹

The Zion should do well in the Christian market.... How much? Haha
Neo of the Matrix would be shocked.
@Nefaryus Drake I believe you have misinterpreted what Christianity is... Like most professing mainstream Christians unfortunately.
Had two both had limb brakedges never again
My first and last bowtech blew up while pulling it back at a 3D tournament this past July. It’s true they’re junk.
Bowtech keeps getting uglier and uglier
Agreed this bow is dam well ugly.
