I’m so glad I found you!!
This was a great Video. I searched for group cruise and found your video.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for this video. Very helpful for me as a new agent.
So glad I found this video and it is a lifesaver. Thank you so much.
This was great thank you.
You are so welcome!
At what step can I send an accurate quote for the group? And what about a quote for a family of 3 being added to a group.
Hi Crita Michele from Australia. Just wondering about payments. Could you please advise how this happens
If you had single occupancy, would you have to book that outside the group and move the reservation in to the group?
Correct
Can you get 8 rooms with 1 person per room for a group booking, or do the rooms have to be double occupancy?
Cabins are based off double occupancy so you are better off putting 2 people in 1 cabin on Royal Caribbean
I was looking for training and found your video, which is great. I have a question when you selected the the cabin for 3 people i notice it was NRD. Will the deposit still be Non refundable once you add it to the group?
That is correct, non refundable deposit
Are clients in a group able to make payments on their own whenever they would like? Or does the TA have to funnel all payments?
It is the TA's responsibility to do all payments for their clients
@@travelbytilly thank you!
My cruising power doesn’t have the group booking option. How do I get that?
If you are a travel agent then you will contact RC and talk to them about your expresso acct.
I just watched this. When you put the double occupancy it was $500 down-payment but when you updated the one room to 4 people would the requirement still be 500 down-payment or would it be 1000. And is there single room occupancy? And is there 5 people allowed in one room? How do we allocate the kids sale free?
This is Adventures by steph. I am logged into my husband's account
It is $250 per person so the deposit would increase from 2 people to 4 people. Also, you would have to check specifically with the cruise line but as far as I know RC does not have a solo occupancy rate.
Now what if you have children involved in a group. How can you add them
You'll do a regular individual reservation and then add the reservation to the group to get the GAP points
Can we add more than 2 guest into a group booking for one cabin?
Yes, you will book the cabin outside of the group and then add to the group.
If you choose no deposit, does it cost more?
No
@@travelbytilly I just set up my first RCI group with help from tech support. The guy told me that if we choose no deposit there will be no amenity points! So I switched to deposit. This seems unreasonable for a group. Is it true?
