Awesome video guys!! 🙌 Humantay is such a breathtaking place to visit, literally. 😄 We hiked it a few years back and still haven’t forgotten how crisp the air feels there.
Hi, great travel vlog! I will be visiting Cusco next month. Did you have to get permission to use your drone at this lake and the rainbow mountain? I own a small drone and don’t need to register but was wondering how to get permission because online sources only mentions to get permission from local communities/make donation but doesn’t specify how. I am planning to do this lake and rainbow mountain independently, not with a tour group, do we need a guide to hike both rainbow mountain and to this lake? Thanks a lot!
I did not need any special permission from anyone. I was just aware of my surroundings and being respectful of other travelers and trying to fly far from people.
Hi :) I'm planning to go there in late April. It is just amazijg!! I just have question: how did you contact the private taxi? Is there any place where to book one? Ore you just asked a taxi driver in Cusco?
Would you provide more info on where you hired your driver to take you there and back and that price, was it just for you two? We’re a family of 3 adults and 2 young kids so trying to gage how much a hire car would be. Thanks!
Did you have a problem flying your drone there? Going in a month and would like to use mine too but not sure what regulations are required or even what locations you are allowed to fly at. I know Machu Picchu is out for sure!
i didnt have any problems. I went far away from any people though to make sure of it also. I think its best to just use your situational awareness, if it seems fine, do it. If not, then maybe don't
@@catandmarcos what about getting it in Peru was that tough? I’ve read you have to register or pay a VAT. Stories are all over and don’t know what’s accurate.
yeah honestly I heard the same thing but didn't have anyone asking about my drones at the airports or when I flew it. I am using the Mavic Air 2s so maybe they had problems with their bigger drones like Mavic Pro's or what not @@nathanstepp86
Those igloo looking things are for people who do a multi day trek. Usually to salcantay, i think. Side note, please don't encourage people to jump in the lake, its not permitted whatsoever.

We booked it after arriving in Cusco! There are lots of companies who offer the trip
@@catandmarcos many thanks. And so the taxi driver waited for you there all the time right?
yes! He was waiting in the van for us to get back down :) @@claudiodicintio6059
Nice video. Do they let you go at your pace and is the horse availble all the way up for one price rate? thanks
we went at our own pace yes, we did not have a guide for this, only a driver. I'm not entirely sure about the horses though
Would you provide more info on where you hired your driver to take you there and back and that price, was it just for you two? We’re a family of 3 adults and 2 young kids so trying to gage how much a hire car would be. Thanks!
It was $70 round trip for the entire van. We hired the driver from a tour company there called Intur Peru Guide
