His passes and crosses are stupid good, always cross with a spinning ball stikers only barely need to touch the ball already comes with power
we NEED to try a system with colwill, stones and white as 3 CB’s then rice and trent as a double pívot then jude and maddison ahead of them. It’s so solid in every way cus colwill and white can play fullback if they need to cover out wide, rice can drop in at centre back it’s basically flawless
@@sensibility1174 for the colwill one just put tomori there, or even with colwill i’m sure he’ll be fine with every play around him being comfortable on the ball, he’ll have the options of rice, trent, stones, jude and pickford who are all very comfortable on the ball. Idk what u mean about white tbh but u can’t ask more of him as a player, especially when maguire still consistently plays. Maddison was one of the best players on the pitch in the spurs vs liverpool and arsenal games, so that’s just cap lol. It’s easy to say ‘he’s bad at this and ignore all a players positives bro grow up a bit

Trent bellingham rice midfield is the best combo, trent is very much needed for the creative side of the game and with players like rice and jude to support him then i can see England doing very well. Plus its not like he cant defend, he can but dont give him much defensive responsibilities.

A great player but the pushing inside into midfield experiment doesn’t look right. He slows the play down too much and can’t take it on the half turn. Most Australia attacks came down his side. Yes, he can ping passes but his most effective passes are crosses from the right and playing inside takes that away from his game a little.

@@yourguy382 yes I think he was one of the better England players with Watkins, but it wasn’t a good team performance. Someone who is given free rein to wander around midfield and in and out of right-back with players accommodating him and looking for him when they have the ball should play well against Australia. I don’t think he made anyone else play well and I’d argue that he had a negative effect on some players and the team. He’s a great player and coaches seem to think the risk/reward of doing this is worth it but I’m yet to see it.
Honestly if he can't defend well as a rb then he will be a burden playing in the midfield as well, only the worst is he can't do crossing as often in the centre. He looked average in midfield tbh, it's just Liverpool spoiled him enough to put him in midfield trial to dodge the fact that he's kinda lazy in defense as rb.
