If anybody's wondering...yes, it's worth making. Requires minimal effort and comes out crusty every time. Makes great toasted sandwiches, French toast, even croutons.
I would recommend parchment paper in the Dutch oven to keep it from sticking to the bottom.
i did that was way to much salt though

Grease Dutch oven

Easy Artisan bread with dry east
3,5cups all purpose flour
2 tsp cusher salt
half tsp instant dry east
Give it a mix
1 and 3/4 cups worm water 107°F, stir, if it is still dry add more water slowly till you get sticky texture
Rest covered 5 to 8 hrs room temperature
Dust counter and hands
Fold in all 4 sides, rest it dusted and covered
Add an empty 4 or 6 quart Dutch oven for 30 min at 425°F,
dust with flower, make the slides
Into the oven for 30 min
Remove the lid and return into the oven 5 to 10 min to further brown the top
In USA we call it kosher salt but any salt will do._

I recently made this bread and followed the recipe exactly. It came out very dense, any idea why? I had to throw it away :(
I use active dry yeast by mistake will it ruin the dough?:(

I’ve made this recipe a few times now and it’s delicious! So easy to follow and once it’s done you put a little butter on the bread and it’s fantastic 🤤💕

I've been doing this for a while now, I love it. Get a high quality Olive paste and run it through the dough when it's wet, you can also dust black olives and flour and throw them in for a nice olive bread
I have added chopped up fresh jalapeno peppers and cheese. Another time fresh garlic. They were amazing!

This is a good bread recipe and it’s full proof! Using parchment in the pot makes it easier to remove. Just a tip.

Do you grease the Dutch oven before adding the dough? And how long does the bread need to cool before removing from the Dutch oven?

I love her recipe I enjoy listening to her talking while I'm putting it together everyone thinks it's amazing the crunchy crust is the best. I usually make sourdough bread but I enjoy this one I think a little more.

Have been making this since Kim Lakey created it. I coat the out side in dry roasted assorted nuts. Try adding roasted garlic, olives and adding tumeric to the flour. I easy bake it on parchment paper.

It took me two try’s, the first time I think my yeast was dead it had been in the cupboard for quite some time. Yesterday I made this bread with some new yeast and wow! Came out awesome family loves it. Iam going to try it with herbs next. Thanks so much for the video.
Store your yeast in the freezer or fridge. It lasts a lot longer that way. 😊

@@laurapleasefollowjesus1471 this has been a tried and true recipe. I've made it over a dozen times and it always comes out great. Even one time when my yeast didn't rise in the oven the bread still tasted fantastic. I live in arizona.so I normally have to do a bit more water than she calls for since it is so dry here. But definitely give it a go you won't regret it!

We do it the same way with spelled flour and fresh yeast. When finished enjoying it with butter, flakey salt and fresh chives. Love this one

I made a diY dome dutch oven with a pizza stone and a crockpot turned upside down. Worked great… full loaf browning!
Bread baking smell so wonderful all you need is butter or a nice thick soup or stew or anything else for that matter,
Damn my oven is clean but that's a next level clean.
Sad to say I am just learning to bake bread at my age. When proofing at room temperature. What is the ideal room temperature? Winter is coming. So if I proof at night and bake in the morning to break the chill in the house, will it rise? I can't stop thinking about all the things I could put on this bread for brunch or with a homemade soup ♥️
This bread you make at evening cover and let it sit over night as you sleep .. up to 16 hours or longer . Then shape it let sit while oven getting hot .. if it’s really cold in the morning put your shaped bread above your oven to get the warmth to rise a bit more .... it’s a no kneed bread so it can sit up to 24 hours before you shape it.. I just made this recipe and another using a poolish .. I prefer the bread made with the poolish .. it has like a sour dough ish flavor ..

You can put the dough (cover your bowl with a clean towel) in an oven with just the light turned on and it will rise perfectly. Congratulations on learning to bake, whatever your age! It's fun, it's delicious, and your friends will love you even more for sharing.
I’ve made about a dozen in the last week, saw your reel on Facebook. Then made the whole wheat but seems dense. Got a regular round and then a round I added chopped rosemary and roasted garlic to for big family dinner tonight. Now I just need to source better ingredients and maybe a slicer.
I tried dividing the dough into 3 mini loaves and cooked 30 min. Turned out amazing, ate a loaf right there. Thanks. Maybe I’ll open the Stone Brakery
