Lot of comments on here about this lady's heritage. Why does it matter? She's on the road, travelling light and hurting nobody. We should all try to do the same. I'd spend a happy hour or two having a chat with her over a roadside brew up :)
Don't know why she is getting such abuse. She's no traveller but was married to Peter Ingram and had children with him, lived on the road for years then settled. She went out in her wagon every year when she was getting older and did it on her own. Dont matter if you haven't got traveller blood, some people just love horses and wagons and like the road. Call em wannabes if you want but she travelled and led the life like lots of other gorjas who have taken to wagons.
Iam very friendly with loads of travelling folk and by god there way is the right way i visit them once twice a week and me being a country man I wish them and there traditions all the best god bless and be lucky ☘👍
This woman travelled hundreds and hundreds of miles with a horse and wagon, ranging from Norfolk to Cornwall. She mostly travelled on her own, well into her 70s. Would you have the courage and knowledge to do it?
I'd love to. I've done horse riding and learned how to ride a horse n carriage, since I was six. Went to horse riding camps. Missing this, go swimming with the horses, have a BBQ, making bred for the open fire
Living in a vardo is bloody hard work, looks grand when the suns shining which isn't often in the UK. As for whether she's a Romany & doesn't rokka the lav or not who bloody cares, life on the road is hard enough without division. ......DA.

Your right about the horse thing as I am the same but with dogs ,but I'm sorry to say you aren't or ever will be a gypsy ,your either born one or you just can't be one, the thing you come nearest to is a new age traveller. But anyone can be a traveller but not necessarily Gypsy. The Irish are travellers but they are not Gypsies. She was being very vague.
