I just watched this video before the final fight with Trilla. Here was what was at stake. I had made it through the entire game on grand master up to that point without dying. I've played through this game literally dozens of times and making it through on one life was a goal I set for myself after about the 10th play through. This video helped me accomplish a zero death run. Obviously I had beaten her before this video gave me a solid strategy. Thanks dude.

Dude you make this look so easy it's criminal. I went through the whole game on Jedi Master beating every boss either first or second try just playing super conservatively. When I got to her, I died 35 times and eventually broke and changed the difficulty lol. That charge attack is some cheese.
I agree about that charge attack it was nasty!! And thanks! It definitely was not easy for me though. It took a lot of tries.
I died 49 times against her on Jedi Knight! XD ... She made me so mad that I didnt have the patience to play her conservatively. Finally I did and beat her then looked up how other people chose to deal with her.

Something I’ve found is that there are three basic combos she ends with that leave her completely vulnerable. Every time they end, if you hit her with a split saber attack, it makes it so much easier because you deal massive damage

When she is open (Or when you freeze her), use split duel attacks. They deal massive damage. Also, make sure to get EVERY SINGLE GAMEPLAY RELATED UPGRADE BEFORE YOU FIGHT HER. This includes: Essence Echos, Stim Canister Upgrades, and every perk in the game.

I have noticed that not alot of people use a tip the game gives you from the Bogano fight. She is vulnerable to force push, just force dodge and hit her with the push. It leaves her open for 2-3 hit combo.

I just played through this game even so long after it came out. I did it all on grandmaster and it was agonizing at times but I finally made it through 100% grandmaster. This video helped me out after 2 hours of failure against trilla.

I prefer it that way! I find that locking onto her makes it harder to defeat her. That's just my preference though.

This strategy can work. But, on Jedi Grand Master she seems more aggressive. The, robot keep shooting me and I was unable to regenerate and then, she gripped me with full life and took it all away. She was invinsible to me on Jedi Grand Master. She also mixes a lot of combos along with pounding the ground. When she rushes me, I am also unable to jump or roll out of the way in time. Also, when she grips me she takes all my force powers along with my entire life. I realise when she hits me she takes away both life and force powers too.
Update: I finally defeated her on Jedi Grand Master with the last life! Lol.

I think they went a little overboard with Trilla's difficulty in the final fight. Up until that point the difficulty of enemies throughout the game has been pretty consistent and reasonable but with Trilla it's a little ridiculous.

The reason you are doing so well is because after 10 deaths (unbeknownst to you) the game lowers the difficulty. I played on jedi master and I got destroyed by the ninth sister over and over. I always got her down to 1/4 health then died. She literally blocked everything. On the 11th try I was hitting her with ease multiple times in a row and beat her with out even using a stim pack. Same thing with that bird on Dathomir. Eventhough i thought that was a very easy boss fight, I died multiple times because I forgot to parry the head lunge. Lo and behold, on the 11th try I beat her with out taking ANY DAMAGE. I have it on video. I just beat the game last night. I got destroyed by the 2nd sister even with full health and 10 stim packs. I got real close a few times but always died. 11th time. beat her with 4 stim packs left. I know these numbers bc I stream them and watch the VODs
not true with Trilla
This has not been my experience on Jedi Master though. I take anywhere between 20 to 50 tries to beat a boss. Ninth Sister and Malicos both took like 50 tries & I didn't see any difference. I was able to beat them only after watching CZcams videos and implementing specific tactics and avoiding mistakes. I sometimes get into the flow, as you described, where I land hist without taking damage in return but that's random.
One hour in with 5 stims on Jedi master. My record is 4/5 of her health before getting paralyzed by a probe droid shot and then killed by a jumping attack. Keep thinking that if I only had gotten one or two more stims I would have beaten her without breaking a sweat. Now instead I have to take the most difficult anger management class yet.

Well tbh I had to fight her with only 4 stems cause I only explore for about 30 min whenever I get to a new planet then I get thirsty for more story it was hell fighting her

I just beat her with a strategy to get her with the back to the abyss, stop her with force slow and hit her with three consecutive split sabre attacks. First one breaks her guard and staggers her, second and third land dealing massive damage. Stim and repeat. Fight was over real quick and it felt a bit cheap tbh. Also satisfying as she did a number on me, or maybe 10-15, before.
Make sure to use force push more it exposes her for two big hits like the double overhead lash it’s really effective

Holy shit after at least 50 tries I finally beat her on grandmaster. What a boss! What worked for me was force push then double triangle attack w/ single saber. Force slow to safely stim and get my force back up then repeat that takes her down pretty fast. Shes pretty vulnerable to this tactic. But yeah you gotta learn her moveset first to avoid all of the one shot attacks. Reminded me of a dark souls final boss like isshin in sekiro. Pretty fun. Took me two days to beat her!
Trilla is my favorite Star Wars Antagonist. Absolutely loved her. Wish she could have made it to the sequel....

I was playing the whole game on jedi master and had to turn it down to jedi knight to beat her, pretty ashamed lol but I only had 5 stims and didn't bother going back to planets to look for force essences and shit
I just ended up putting it on the easiest difficulty haha

I heavily discourage this. Beating a boss feels much more fun when you beat it with pure skill and not lower the difficulty.

The thing that pisses me off is when she throws the flash bang. Like when has she ever used that before, to me that came out of nowhere and I hate it.

Slow two lightsaber move at the beginning and keep the two lightsaber move going as long as you can the do the switch from double bladed lightsaber to single bladed lightsaber move

Holy crap 10 recovery items! I got 2 to work with at the end. Wonder why I died like 50 times. Well I won but god damn game where are those recovery items and why aren't easy to find. Great tutorial though.

I have never been more angry at a stupid video game
I defeated this boss on Jedi master difficulty, only after 25 losses did I look up a tutorial. This video is where I discovered that you can find more stims. I HAD PLAYED THROUGH THIS GAME WITH ONLY TWO STIMS AND MINIMUM HEALTH (other than the levels, but only a couple findable upgrades). I felt hopeless, because this was a point where I couldn’t go back to search. And I Hadn’t searched much because I thought it was all bits of lore and lightsaber customizations. However, I finally beat it. Moral of the story is that YALL ARE USING COLLECTABLES AS A HANDICAP, AND I BEAT IT WITHOUT THEM SO HA GET REKT. SEE YA LATER NOOBS.
I do realize that I didn’t do this on grandmaster, but it still felt good.

Trying to run in and away just ain't the way for me. Constantly close the space and attack her. And if she pushes you away, push back with the force. The aggressive way doesn't even allow her to summon the probe robot.
I played this entire game in Jedi master but when I got to her, switch the difficulty to story mode because just did want to deal with her bullshit, I could have beaten her on Jedi master but that would take longer than I wanted it to

Take time to explore the map, try to get as many upgrades and stims as possible. Hope this helps!

I don’t believe you can get back to the mantis right before or after this fight. I believe the game forces you to follow the story path until you beat the final mission. After completing the final mission you will have access to the mantis again. Let me know if this helps!

To give you a sense of how bad I am at this game, I simply could not beat her on JEDI KNIGHT and I cracked and changed it to story mode. There is no word to describe how much I hate her.

Im on jedi knight and play on PC. I just cant beat her. Her movements and combinations are different to your video. She almost only uses dashing and that blade spin attack. When she puts away her light saber to dash and grip i cant evade because she follows me. Im trying to just use slows and hit her but its almost impossible. Havent even gotten her to 50% without dying and i have 7 stims..
I don’t think it’s worth trying on Grand Master difficulty. It just makes it so she can get hit in the face with a lightsaber and take no damage. That’s not realistic or fun.

You can't unfortunately. The best thing you can do is to not get grabbed by it.

@@Unrated7 Yo, I've just finished the campaign again and it is possible to hack the probe droid, but you must be quick as Trilla can accidentally destroy it with a lightsaber throw ment for you. It shoots her alright, but there are pauses after each shot (as usual with the probe droid), so it's best to keep Trilla close, so she can get hit when attacking you.
She was literally one hit and she flashbanged me and threw her lightsaber and killed me 🤬

It's fucking easiest boss in the game. Just try to force pull > 2 quick attacks > force pull > 2 quick attacks. Repeat that until u are out of power. Go back then and let her hit u. Next use stim to recover your power (u need to have perk) and repeat mentioned sequence
This fight actually ruined the game for me. I was loving every minute of it playing on the hardest difficulty then had to knock it down. I like a challenge but holy shit lol

I just finished this game, how I killed trilla in highest difficulty is simple.
1. Make sure you already obtain max stats both force and health.
2. Complete all skills in tree.
3. She basically has 3 phases (1 phase,trilla,second phase with droid, and last phase with trilla grab moveset and droid combined) its instakill grab attack so becareful.
4. Just stick with trilla for 1 phase, how? By simply disabling her inbthe corner. Close the gap and force push her to break her stamina and proceed with split saber force attack. Rinse and repeat,and if its possible just ignore her droid.
5. You will enter duel cutscene/phases. Just keep disabling her with force push and split saber until she died.
6. The only flaw in this strats is your force meter,as one full bar could only deal 2 force push and split saber strike. So you have to voluntarily get hit by either her attack or her droid to be able to use stims. But if you could survive the strike its simple boss fight.
7. Enjoy your ending

I just did it on new game plus grand master mode she so annoying took me awhile but I beat her and everyone else on it. She by far the wrose to fight wasn't because she was hard to hit its that her block take forever to brake and I just stop trying to brake because she won't attack with stuff you can parry and the you she has full block again so annoying that what hard about her for me and her one shoot kill b.s. near the end of the fight and I did with a red lightsaber and Inquisitor outfit on the Xbox I play the game just like that and it was funny at times I'm just happy I can play arcade mode just wish you had more points so you can have bigger battles also they should add Rebels I mean you meet them in the game why not add them in arcade

This is such a bad boss fight by EA, nothing more than input reading from the AI. Which is a lazy way for the game developers to make a game seem challenging. If you dont attack a lot of the times, not just her but other enemies as well just kinda stand there for a bit waiting for you to hit the attack button so they can quickly counter and attack through your attack. Not to mention you're in a red room so you cant see her red unblockable attacks very well, especially if you try to be aggressive and are up close. And I love the fact that I have a 3ft long light saber that cant reach someone that is 6 inches in front of me because the game developers once again look for cheese ways to make the game challenging. Again just lazy ways to try to make a boss fight challenging rather than have it be about timing and window and reflex like a Souls game which this game does a sad job trying to imitate.

Fallen Order is more inline with Sekiro then Souls. Souls is about getting the opponent to make the first move, studying their attacks and waiting for the moment they open up. Fallen Order like Sekiro is more about using your attack to parry or sidestep and create your opening.

@@pjam1184 she is highly vulnerable to force push. All you do is force dodge and follow will push. It opens her up for 2-3 hit. I think the biggest reason people struggle with her is, she is the only boss in the game that requires you to be upclose and come with constant pressure. Think of this fight like the valkyries in God of War. Your best opinion is to sidestep instead of rolling. It keeps you in the fight and allows for counter attacks.
Me: spending a whole hour fighting Trilla on Jedi Master mode 1st play through feeling good about my strats

WTF I barely started a level and already a fucking boss! And I had a difficulty set to Jedi Master and basically stuck now with it without able to change it. The bosses in this game are overlymultitasking and take half of your life with one hit. Worst fucking game design ever! 😡

@@Unrated7 Thanks God for the WeMod trainer! Apparently it exists for SWFO too. I just enabled unlimited health and force for that boss. I have no time to waste 5 hours trying to beat the most multitasking damagewise bosses that were ever created in the video game history.

The combat in this game is fucking garbage.
I love this game....but I hate this "let's make everything dark souls" trend.
It completely ruins any sense of rythm in the game.
Where is the fun in wasting half an Hr and up, every time you go up against a boss, just to learn their patterns and predict their attacks
