Even after all of these years for Borderlands 2, I still remember doing the Axton running glitch on multi-player. Cycling a dropped gun from your hand to another one on the ground and just keep repeating until you are faster than sonic the hedgehog

@@The_Stickle_Cell It only works when your in someone else's lobby. To do it, you need an interfacer or the scarlett pistol, and I think you need legendary soldier. All you have to do is aim in with either gun, get into any car(while aiming), and hop out. Repeat to stack!!

Of COURSE the overpowered Gaige glitch requires you to stand there stacking for half an hour first. Gotta be true to the character playstyle!

We go from stacking reloads with Anarchy, to stacking reloads with Shock and Agh. Gaige is such a diverse character . Lol it's nice to see Gaige putting up good numbers on OP10 like that without sacrificing anything. Crazy things are about to be done with this for sure
She needs something other than anarchy tho. So boring pre stacking. This helps but it's a glitch. It's STILL involves stacking

I want to get on my 360, delete the game update and then play with the Evil Smasher glitch. There was just something about the release version of BL2 that I didn't like that the updates fixed I just can't remember

Gaige just can't escape stacking damage. I'm actually kind of surprised it took this long to discover this glitch, since it's so easy to do it. Makes me wonder what other glitches we haven't discovered.

Waiiiiit.
So back on my first playthrough of Gauge. I would go back to the beginning to restack anarchy.
And now in my true vault hunter playthrough I find her feel so much slower moving than I remember.
I literally was exploiting this glitch by stacking 30 anarchy stacks on level 2 mobs as a level 30 Gauge.
Hilarious and unintentional.
And I can only reliably restack with the DLC. Amusing.
That or early game Rakk who die to paper cuts.
@@glenmcgillivray4707 Happened to me once with the Evil Smasher Glitch, I didn't know what I did but I demolished the sawtooth cauldron in a regular playthrough. Like a month or two later the glitch was discovered
10 years this game has been around and the community is still discovering new things! This amazes me!
You can proc it with backdraft on maya, just tested it and it seems to be working, the way I did it is: get low level slow hand or rocket launcher to break your own shield (which should be low level also) and the nova from backdraft will kill the turret and proc the "fake" kill skills, the problem is: if you are using Inertia, your shield will regen faster and it will be harder to break it again to proc backdraft, but then you use very low level shield
The phoenix skill stacks on top of each other, so you will deal a lot of corrossive hits, also a lot of shield regen and reload speed from Inertia, alot of lifesteal from Life tap and I have no Idea how Kinect Reflection Stacks

Hey thanks, I was around level 36 in my current gaige playthrough on switch. This trick showed up at the perfect level to start capitalizing on it. So fun!
She can summon a flying death robot that phases through walls, become hyperspeedy, near invincible, and have infinite damage stacking.
Her "I AM THE GOD OF DESTRUCTION!" quote seems really fitting nowadays.
10.5 years in, and people are still finding some new busted tech in this game. Impressive!
This "fake kill skill" scenario reminds me of the 3 occurences of this effect I had on Nisha while messing around in Vorago Solitude: I received a permanent stack of Tombstone, Bona Fide Grit and Saddle Up, causing Nisha to have chance at critical hits even without any indication of kill skills while having a 100% crit chance when they were actually active.
Sadly, I couldn't find out which skill caused this "fake kill skill" condition in her case, so it was all about lucking into it and I never could get more than one stack of the effect, but seeing Hot Lead chains kill even armored targets in a single trigger pull was definitely worth it.
Fun fact, Electrical Burn actually double dips on the bonus from Evil Enchantress, because the burn DoT is based on the damage from the shock DoT
And it applies the slag multiplier twice. A base electrocution tick of, let's say, 100k does 250k in UVHM as shock vs shield. This is increased to 750k with slag in UVHM. The "electrical burn" is about 60% of that 750k tick which gets multiplied by slag again (1350k) and soon enough fire on flesh (x1.75) when the shield breaks for a good dozen ticks at 2362k each! Not bad to go from 100k to 2362k! And that is without the WDT, Shock Relic, and EE bonuses.
Unfortunately, very high OP levels apply damage reduction twice to activate this skill. So 0.35 * 0.35 = 0.12. Electrical burn is ok up to about OP4. The shock DoT is reasonable but the following burn DoT is underwhelming.
Imagine stacking unbelievable amounts of Kinetic Reflection. Such a wild glitch.

I remember you talking about this glitch and saying "we just have to figure out how to recreate it on-demand" (it sounded like it was found by accident?). And holy moly, that's amazing that you guys figured it out!! I haven't played as Gaige yet (I'm kind of new to BL - 3 was the first game I played in the series) and this is making me want to start a Gaige run! I just started playing the original BL for the first time (it's great but not my favorite in the series) and unfortunately I'm not done with my second playthrough with Lilith yet, but guaranteed Gaige is my next character!
I was about to start a new character and now I can't wait to play with this. Thanks Joltz and Fil!

Gaige has always been unkillable. Shield/deathtrap glitch. But this new glitch is pretty dope. Better. Good on the guy who found it

For anyone who hasn't used it, shock and AUGH is actually really fun. The dps of the dot is basically on par with nearly all on level guns, but it has an aoe. I am personally putting together a build with the black hole, chain lightning, and grog nozzle. Slow single target damage, but actually competitive dps in mobbing scenarios.
Alternatively, you could possibly use a transformer and like, a shock topnea for less crowd control but more outright dps.
I am also going to look into how effective a topnea/grenade build with sharing is caring and the big boom blaster can be, cause dt can drop the ammo boosters. You CAN summon him with one shield equipped, and then swap, but that's a bit tedious.

Gaige has been my fav for years! Been playing around with this for a couple weeks, seeing if it will help solo raid bosses (level 80). It lets you utterly melt Pyro Pete and Master Gee, and makes the Ancient Dragons and Vermivorous trivial. However, Terramorphous, Voracidous and Hyperius (and his shield loaders) have some kind of insane resistance to debuffs. Their novas are able to punch through your shield and kill you regardless of your regeneration. Only shield I've found that can tank their novas is the Fabled Tortoise (which also keeps her new move speed manageable, lol), but without the Bee and with their DoT resistance, I just can't kill them before they land a killing blow. Best results so far are with the Tortoise shield, a shock-boosting relic, and the Storm sniper rifle.
i remember Gaige was the first character i played in BL2, and i ended up stacking the Buck Up glitch dozens of times just to kill BNK-3R for my first time because i didn't understand just how much to the game there was, like XP farms or anything like that. might actually get me to play BL2 again, and maybe actually stray from the Anarchy path for once
After all these years I'm glad to see there is still a community for this game that finds this kind of stuff!
Seeing this makes me so so so excited to replay this game with my friend and just speeeeed past him. Movement speed is my favorite thing ever in video games
While playing Gaige after this video, I found a little glitch for farming the Bee shield. After entering the Forest start the Tree Hugger, but do not take the sapling, then work your way to to the end and enter the Immortal Woods, then back to the Forest. There will only be two Ork's to kill and then you can kill the two trees for the Bee shield, restart and only two Ork's everytime till your done.

I love that people are still finding new stuff for bl2... my personal favorite is the "rising shot" glitch for Zer0, but this one is pretty cool too.

Gaige also have a glitch with the Buck Up skill that makes her shield reg stack up like that, is a little extra leg work but would be a nice combo with this glitch for anyone who wants the dmg , the shield reg but not the crazy speed xD

I just recently completed a normal playthrough with gaige, and i to tvhm now. I couldn't do it with anarchy. Being unable to hit anything drove me crazy. Had to respec into the best friends forever tree so i could tolerate playing.
Gaige just seems like a less fun Axton 😅
while this *is* pretty sick, it doesn't really change my main problem with Gaige of having to pretty slowly stack stuff that doesn't carry over through save-quits(i mean, why would it, but it means you have to return to a good stacking spot after every kill+save-quit which slows it down and is generally just boring)
but... at the very least it's another funny thing to mess around with every once and a while, thanks for the cool vid Joltz!!
with that speed you could totally cross the gap on digistruct peak from the first area all the way to binary boss for some easy pearls

I noticed when I climb in the boom bewm turret and shoot the gate, the glitch goes away. So a few other things may also remove the glitch. I will update this comment with any others.
Entering a vehicle ends it. The turret at boom bewms is technically a vehicle as far as the game cares.
This has worked since release. Did it all the time as Krieg. Activate you ability just as you get donwned and uou have super speed once you get your second wind.

I love this glitch, and I love Gaige, only thing that's stopping me from plaing her is the total lack of damage without anarchy, I love her but i hate stacking it every time I die, but right now I'm gonna have fun again!

gotta say thatthe fact that the glitch involves reloading your weapon on a spaghetti coded object to farm stacks, does not change much about the usual gaige gameplay loop whenever you do a save quit

hi, I think I found a glitch with Gaige: it works with shotguns (I don't know if all of them) and it works so that when you empty the stack and the reload animation starts and you hit the enemy with your hand instead of one stack of Anarky you get two. I'm not 100% sure and I'm new to this game so I'd like someone experienced to test it
I was messing around on about 300 fake kill skill stacks, some things like a suicide psychos or exp loaders will damage health, but the shield still appears to stay intact. I assume this is because the shield just goes back up so fast that it doesn't show. Fight for your life mode is easy because you still have the movement buff.
Finally, as Gaige is my favourite bl2 character I now can have the option to not use sal for any form of farming

Do you have any idea how to farm different enemies and missions on console? You were my inspiration to begin playing Borderlands 2 and your videos have always been a massive moral boost for me. Keep up the good work as you always do
Farming bosses is just a matter of saving and quitting then returning to beat the boss. If it isn't spawning/respawning, then you likely haven't accepted/turned in the associated mission.
There are also some guaranteed enemies that spawn if certain missions are active and not progressed past a certain point, such as the four loot midget robots in a group of boxes during the Doctor's Orders quest as long as you haven't collected all the ECHOs. Loot midgets can randomly spawn elsewhere, but having that mission incomplete gives a good farm for them.
For mission rewards like the Sandhawk or Fibber that immediately save after accepting the reward, you need to check the reward without accepting it (there should be a button to inspect the reward), and if it isn't what you want close out of the game entirely and restart it so the mission won't be saved as turned in and you can try again. Farming these is very tedious on console, and I highly recommend not aiming for a perfect version of the equipment you are farming this way.
I've been playing Gaige for the first time for about the last 2 weeks and I've not been enjoying it. I'll give this a go and see if it works for me on the PS4 Handsome Collection.

@@orangerhymed It does, but if you go up against a raid boss it will take health from you without touching your shield. I tried Viracidous in the Big Game DLC and got downed, but thankfully it was when he had almost no health left so I managed to get a second wind when he died. I then accidentally jumped off a cliff on my way up to the fast travel station so haven't done it again since.
So Gaige went from stacking mechanic to stacking mechanic .
just tried this out for this first time. Goofy af lol. It's really fun with the Slag/Shock maliwan smg from the tiny tina's dlc seraph vendor! couldn't get it to work with the cars, but the turret was cash money, and I was breezing through op10 with only like 30-50 stacks.
