"Where the Road Ends" BIKEPACKING El Chaltén, Argentina to Villa O'higgins, Chile [TJN EP. 9]

- Between El Chalten, Argentina and Villa O'higgins Chile, there is an area without any roads. Luckily for cyclist there are some hiking trails and ferries which can be used to cross this remote area of Patagonia. This video covers the Lago de Desierto Hike-a-bike, an infamous segment among long distance cyclists and the ferry ride across Lago O'higgins, the deepest lake in the Americas.

Hike a biking like that is my #1 favorite way to travel. The harder the push the more fun the descent! A view like that wouldn't hurt either. Zora loves it because she gets to rest on the ascent and run on the descent.
agree most of the time it is worth it, however when conditions force one to hike downhill, the fun is taken out of it

I think you don't need to worry too much, check out my torres del paine video and Fitz Roy if you want to see some good hiking! No bikes allowed on those trails.
