    Vallejo weathering products look good but are also heavy and difficult to apply and fix especially when applying using brush for beginners.

      Use small amounts and build it up very very very slowly, with time to dry inbetween. Dilute with Vallejo Airbrush thinner if needs be. If you do too much you can remove some in the first minute or so if you brush on a load of thinner and use a cotton bud, but once it’s dry it won’t come off.

    Do you apply dark mud splashes first or light splashes first, in which order do you apply the mud...Thanks great videos.

      i would do light first, then dark. Dry mud tends to be lighter than wet mud.

    Interesting. What kind of thinner do you use to blend it? Can I thin it with water and apply it with a airbrush?

    Any tips for the mecha line? I find that it wont spray from the bottle and that I need to thin. But I cant get the ratio

    • @vallejocolors
      @vallejocolors  Před 5 lety

      Hi,
      You should spray Mecha directly from the bottle, it's airbrushing formula. Did you clean the airbrush properly? Needle size? Can you give us more information? Something that can help us is the name and batch code of the color.

      @GeekInMiami Před 5 lety

      Ive used multiple colors. Last ones i used was mecha turquoise and dark green. I find that at minimum i have to put 2 Vallejo thinner to 10 paint. Im using a new iwata eclipse 0.35 nozzle. Ive done a deep clean. Psi is 15 to 17.

    Hello! How can I remove these effects after drying?

    • @vallejocolors
      @vallejocolors  Před 5 lety

      After drying, the effects are really, really hard to remove. AV products have high quality adhesive properties, so it will be almost impossible to remove the effects without damaging the rest of the paint work.
      From AV range, you can try the Airbrush Cleaner, for removing the effects. But at your own risk. I’m almost certain that you will ruin the paint base work in the process. So, we would not recommend doing it.

    I just bought it but it seems to be glossy!!! Am I using it in a wrong way? directely from the bottle with the brush...

    • @vallejocolors
      @vallejocolors  Před 2 lety +1

      Hello! This is because this simulates wet mud. In case you need the finish of dried mud you should use our pigments with a tiny amount of water, model and let em dry :)
