  • GENGAR ex is an awesome Energy Disruptor. It's attack allows you to move an energy from your opponent's active to one of their benched pokemon. And each time they attach an energy from their hand to one of their pokemon, they receive damage from Gengar ex's ability. This is actually a strong build!
    (This build was designed for 2024 STANDARD format Regulation Cards "F" through "TEF" Expansion)

    This would pair very well with the Brute Bonnet from Twilight Masquerade, which for 3 dark energies, you can do 50 damage + 50 damage for each damage counter on your opponent’s active Pokémon

    Honestly? I'd Swap Samurott for Darkrai and fit 4 Hammers to keep disrupting even more, since Darkrai's V Star power would allow for more item abuse. I'd also have a second Giovanni's Charisma for the energy acceleration. Mew ex could be swapped for Radiant Greninja too

    I like it, but if you want to have a single-prize attacker, go with dark Lokix, he does 10+ 40/dmg counter (similar to Samurott). He also doesn't have an upper limit. While Samurott is hitting for a max of 220, Lokix reaches 260 if they have 5 dmg counters on them. Since Gengar is putting 20-40 (or more per attachment) You are easily reaching 210+ damage and you are only risking one prize. It will also clean up literally anything Gengar EX hits, meaning you can hit with Gengar EX switch to Lokix (using Night Gate) and kill their big boy while protecting your big boy.

    It may be just me, but I’m starting to think Crown/Hands is making Mew Ex too much of a liability to run. Sure, you could just not bench it, but the popularity of the deck just makes it a dead card in most matchups right now. Pulling 3 prizes off of Mew is just to easy especially if they are running Prime Catcher.

      @WhyDoBabiesStareAtMe Před 4 měsíci +2
