I tried just lubricating it previously but found it needed a good cleanup and the rust removed

@@whatsbroken8309 if it would have been properly lubricated every 3 years with the right products it would have never rusted like that..its a shame..

My greetings from Ukraine. Thanks for the informative video. I respect people who skillfully work with their hands, are not afraid to turn nuts and are not afraid of mechanisms.

You didnt lube the tracks with silicone? I use it to protect the plastic wheels and tracks...i use white lithium on the crank wheels and dielectric silicone on my rubber upper guides...stops rust too

Not sure if I caught it on video but I used powdered graphite, thinking maybe it won't pick up and hold any future debris

What if the plastic is broken on the bottom of the window. Is that an available part.

I can't recall the specifics of the window components, sorry! But I suspect either Toyota or an aftermarket source would carry the parts...

The plastic is part of the window. I've researched it some. I just hard coded the window to stay up with some pvc pipe zip tied to the vertical door frame.

Mine broke too, i had to use a plastic welder to fix it.
