Robbie W. Doesn’t mean you just gonna go aggressive on the car. Remember this is a fuckin F1, so you have to be gentle, also you would slow a bit down just to enjoy the F1 as much as possible
But of course, straight road = full throttle
@@hyri3188 i have seen another videos of the Renault bootcamp and they will never give you a fully unlocked car. They always put some throttle limit in the car. So for example even if you are fully stomping the gas pedal you cannot get more than 60% throttle

When you only have 2 laps and possibly the only 2 laps in your life in an F1 car the only thing you do not care about is the time or how fast you take the corners!!! I had this chance too as the winner of the renault bootcamp and believe me the most exciting part is what your eyes can see that moment... I mean the environment , the feeling ,the sound... Just magical guys!!!

There are actually companies that rent you a F1 car for a day with some guidance on how to drive it. Don't know the exact prices but I've read between 5-9k depending on the car/track. Expensive, not impossible.

Hammond was driving a V10 car which has traction control but he didn’t had any heat in his tears... but even then both cars are still difficult to drive
can't compare today F1 car to the old F1 car.

Guys, all my life i wanted to drive an f1 car, or just anything that gets close to it. i have been simracing since i was 13 and still am now (17 years old). racing is my whole life, and just seeing this video kinda made me have a little feeling of what it must be like.
Mike -_- I feel you man. You could try to go to the gt academy. I'm in the same place as you we're, 13 years old and don't have money to support a racing career. I was so sad when i got turned down by my parents cuz we just don't have extra 6k euros for tha kart and all the other parts, and now i spend 2 to 3 hours of my day 3 times a week playing f1and some other racing games on 100€ wheel. I hope i could get to the gt academy as it is my only hope to becoma a racing driver.

I now know how you felt. On Tuesday I drove an F1 car, four laps around the Magny Cours grand prix circuit. It was a Williams FW33 from 2011. The most incredible, exhilerating and terrifying drive of my life. Words can't do it justice. It was very emotional. The forces, the acceleration and, the noise 😱🤤. Three days later and I am still buzzing!

Julien2395 It's hard to quantify whether the f1 games are sim or not, as we've got no chance of comparing the Physics
They're just arcade. The handling isn't even close to being close to rFactor which is very realistic.
Julien2395 I couldn't tell a huge difference between f1 2013 and Assetto Corsa's Lotus 125 at high speeds. Low speeds F1 2013 was sluggish though. I have never played rfactor though so couldn't compare, unfortunately. Been thinking of trying rfactor 2 though
Julien2395 Oh boy..! This guy is playing racing games for ages and he has proven that he is really really good... Sure F1 games are not Sims and they should never be. However with that experience he will do quite well in a real sim as well...
