Have to disagree on the reasoning not to buy clones. Not everyone has $300 to spend on a couple of pieces of metal, but still want to experience a similar sensation to the shuffle

I don't know, many of the fakes I've seen command high prices and seem to try and convince you they are real, but maybe a hundred or so less than the real ones.
Etsy and other places are scattered with shit like that.

      100%
No chance I would drop $300+ on something like this. But $15-$30, sure.
So the way I see it the original designers are not losing a sale, because there is no way I would have ever purchased the product at the price they are asking.

Capitalism. Also price is what you are willing to pay and what the company would like to get. If some people genuinely don't care and pay 300$ for something which should be 10$ max then the company would be stupid not exploiting it. If noone bought it for 300$ they wouldn't do it

  • @FidelCashflow_YT

The brass and copper are electroplated over stainless steel. Then treated with a clear coat. Thats what I was able to put together from the descriptions of similar types.
Lets be real here, these things are 300 bucks sometimes. Not for something practical, but for something that serves no real purpose, other than to alleviate boredom.
The materials, the time, the rarity, all of these things have to be factored in. I understand the variables involved that can increase the price of something.
But you said it yourself, the shuffle is overpriced. If you ask me, a lot these legit clickers are all overpriced.
I dont agree with clones, but I dont agree with taking advantage of people by selling them a 300 dollar clicker either. Simply because they are popular right now.
So I find myself conflicted tbh.

I like the look of the size of the bigger card one. As for pricing and knock offs, as a starter fidget toy it's probably advisable to go for the cheapest ones you can find, just to see what ball park of fidget toy you prefer. Then maybe look into the more expensive ones for the higher quality. But, if the lower end ones suit you fine, then I say by all means stick with them. Cheap to replace if they get lost, misplaced, stolen, etc. It's nice to have options as well.

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation:
00:00 *🤖 Overview of the fidget items*
    - The creator briefly introduces the 3 fidget items he will be discussing.
    - He clarifies that 2 of the items are known copies/knockoffs, while 1 was an unintentional purchase.
    00:27 *🔍 Examining the $1.99 fidget item*
    - The creator discusses a $1.99 fidget item he purchased, noting it has balls inside that are necessary for it to function properly.
    - He is unsure of the purpose of the metal post that came with the item.
    - Despite the low price, the creator finds the fidget item to be not too bad and to have a satisfying clicking mechanism.
02:12 *🔀 Comparing a copy to a clone of the Fidget Shuffle*
    - The creator differentiates between a "copy" and a "clone", explaining that a copy imitates the design but doesn't try to pass itself off as the original, while a clone directly copies everything including branding.
    - He prefers the copy version he purchased over a clone, as he feels the copy is a better approach.
    - However, he acknowledges that both copies and clones are not ideal, and encourages supporting the original designers.
04:34 *🔬 Examining the Fidget Shuffle copy*
    - The creator compares the size and magnet strength of the Fidget Shuffle copy he purchased to the original Fidget Shuffle.
    - He notes that while the copy is not as satisfying to use as the original, it is not a terrible product for the price.
    - He suggests that for someone not wanting to spend the money on the original, the copy could be a reasonable alternative, though he still recommends supporting the original designers.
08:54 *🔁 Examining the CP3 fidget spinner knockoff*
    - The creator discusses a CP3 fidget spinner knockoff he purchased, comparing it to the original CP3 and Nano models he owns.
    - He finds the knockoff version to be surprisingly good, with strong magnets and a satisfying hand-feel.
    - However, he acknowledges the long-term quality and consistency of the knockoff is unknown, and still recommends supporting the original designers if possible.

i'm way late to this, but i have to agree with the idea of avoiding clones. what most people don't understand is that with high end products there's always a reason the pricing is so high. part of it is that they understand going into it that they are not going to be selling in super high quantities. then all the obvious things such as materials, labor hours, quality of machining, etc. I agree the shuffle is overpriced, particularly on the second hand market. Demand also drives pricing, so the more sought after they are, the more the price will continue to climb. Clones existing in the first place actually contributes to price increase by driving sales away from the original product. the lower their overall sales, the higher the price has to be in order to make a profit.

The reason is so you don't get ripped off paying $200-$300 for a fidget. Don't feel bad for the companies gauging you on these because they're trendy. They are making an absolute killing off of your brand loyalty, and as many knockoffs show they're only marginally better than cheap fidgets, sometimes even worse like you found out in your video. You "hate to say it" when they're just as good because you spent 10x the amount on yours. Seriously, save your money.

Cause its made from a more special metal, cause it feels and looks slightly better? Thats it?? at the end of the day its 2 pieces of some kind of metal and tiny magnest that slide and CLICK to keep you focused. Who truly cares years after having a slider of some kind what it looks like or feels like: Does it slide and click? did it break? even the fake card slider has lasted YEARS and still going: simple answers to overpriced questions. I just bought the Joker 3 card slider from AliExpress. To back up a bit, I received a pair of kings slider for free with another purchase. It actually isn't bad and I'm using it fairly often. To the point I was curious what a 3 piece slider would be like so I just ordered the 3 card. Once the unit comes in and I get to experience both, I can decide which I prefer, 2 or 3 cards to slide...and then if it becomes a main I will then buy the Lautie original version. Basically doing my research before I go all in. Some pieces I bought however like the copy of the pill bug are 100% worth it and would buy again over the youth model that was released and since the original goes for over a grand the copy is a clear winner. Other items like haptic coins for example, when comparing Lautie vs a clone like Dragon Player knockoff it doesn't even come close to compare in any category except for price. For the price difference however, you can buy a 20 dollar Dragon Player vs a 200 dollar Lautie milk cap and suddenly you realize the dragon player unit isn't half bad at 10% the price tag of the Lautie, lol. The quality simply cant compare but id much rather tote a 20 dollar fidget with me while I'm out and about all day vs my 200 dollar one that I'd rather keep at home safe. Anyways, different strokes for diff folks but I 100% believe copies have their place on the market for multiple reasons and clones suck. I have my Dragon Player haptic coin as a result of false advertising so I've experienced it first hand and can comfortably say that its a decent haptic coin for what they're worth but it can't hold a candle to Lutie and shouldn't be advertised as the same thing. Cheers.
