I don't believe that rockstar made this map for just few missions. They must have future plans for this.
Towel1e its probably for the next GTA. They'll probably ignore vice city yet again and do it in some snowy state.
+john if rumors are true, there planning a multiple city game again(Gta San Andreas), if they go for liberty city again, this could be an nearby area.

aadicool2011 100% is beyond confident, Id say theres a 80-90% chance that they will not do the 3 city approach(like they did in 1), but who knows, since liberty city and Los Santos are complete, maybe they will merge the two and only recreate Vice City.

HIDDENRAINN Go on GTA Online on Christmas and you will see snow. Yet it would be cool if there was a mod for it.
It's modeled after Los Angelous and surrounding areas, the only realistic snow would be if there where much taller mountains.

It's a shame they never made a full DLC out of North Yankton, it would've been cool to play as Brad, Micheal, and Trevor a few months before the prologue.

Rain and snow together is called sleet... It is a known condition. It isn't peculiar.
sushles That's not what i was referring to here, because there's no "sleet" in GTA 5, it can rain, and it can snow, I was referring to the fact that it was RAINING (not sleet, since that doesn't exist in GTA 5) while there was snow on the ground, I was expecting the weather to be snow not rain in north yankton

7:40 Yeah, it's called sleet or freezing rain, depending on how unfortunate you are that day. I grew up in Michigan... Ah the memories. This map is actually quite beautifully done. I don't know why they put so much effort into it unless they either really meant for you to go cut loose in it (in the mission where Trevor digs up Brad's grave), or if they perhaps meant to add some missions in the future.

This mod is perfect, just dislike the part which you instantly teleport. I remember the mod back in GTA San Andreas where you could actually walk into the airport, order a ticket or so, and then get in line on a flight to whatever city you chose as your destination. Really hope they add such a mod for airport realism if there isn't such already.
That wasn't a mod it was in the actual game
aadicool2011 In the vanilla version of GTA San Andreas, it was impossible to go into the airport. You either have a modded version and/or is simply mistaken.
Oh right I didn't mean actually get inside the airport; I meant that you could buy tickets from the airport then take a flight to each of the airports. I can 100% assure that was in vanilla gta sa because I had it on the original Xbox and IOS and I tested it on both and you can purchase tickets

Now for someone to make a mod that adds stuff to North Yankton. Adding more buildings, making the rest of the ground solid, adding proper collision for stuff, and making the low quality textures into proper high quality models.

not hating but your voice, even with hay-fever, is very annoying. for instance if you're stealing a car you don't need to describe every aspect of how you steal a car, i.e i'm opening the door...i've got some passengers or hostages who've now opened the door and jumped out. we can see whats going on damn.

Hugh G Rection I can see your viewpoint but I have to go by the stats, and this video has almost 60% retention which is damn high, so most people seem to like the way my videos are now, can't just go changin up the format because of one guys preference after all :D There are loooads of other GTA 5 youtubers out there, I'm sure one of em will suit you well :D

Actually, the fences do exist and get rendered, that's why you can see them, but they're sprites so you don't collide with them. Great vid!

He says at the beginning of the video that you only see North Yankton in the very first mission in the game. Yet he forgot to mention that you do go back there in the mission called "Bury The Hatchet". It's the mission where Michael gets kidnapped by Mr. Cheng and his gang The Triads.
Which then also results one of my favorite missions in the game which is the mission titled "Fresh Meat" where you have to rescue Michael from being chopped up into pieces at the slaughterhouse.
I can't wait until I get my PC

You didn't mention bury the hatchet mission a single time. It's one of my favorite mission's.
He must not have played through the story because anyone who has would remember the north Yankton mission at the end of the game
In the next update of the Native Trainer (the only menu I use as well), they oughta add "snow tires". It should just put a chain texture on your tire or switch the model out for an existing snow tire model. I think it'd be nice, since it already has the "Strong Tires" or whatever it is.
You said that you only see Ludendorff in the Prologue when actually, you also see it in Bury the Hatchet.
My theory is they were going to use this at some other point, but it's in the past so they couldn't

I say to much evidence present for no north Yankton DLC or next game centered there. they wouldn't have rendered that much in to the world if they were only gonna use it twice.

Well I just want to point out that it's not only just in the first mission you also see North Yankton in "Bury the Hatchet" and it takes place in that cemetery.

You go to yankton twice one as the prologue and second when Trevor finds the guy in micahels grave
it wasn't just the 1st mission it was Bury The Hatchet too.
You also go to Yankton wen Trevor finds out brad is in nickels grave

North Yankton appears in the mission that Trevor finds out brads dead as well
I guess they kept this part of the map for some future expansion pack for the game! I think there were a copule of those expansions for GTA IV

There is second mission in North Yankton way after the prologue.
***** It also happened in the mission where Trevor traveled back to the grave to find out who was actually buried. You can also find the the remains of Brad as an NPC mod.
No it didn't, they did the heist and they ended up split apart, then progressing through the game there is a mission as Michael that you have to go back to the graveyard and Trevor is there digging up the grave to find out that brad was buried there.
