Whats up guys! My name is Kenji and I am currently a medical student at King's College London after graduating from the University of Birmingham with a Bachelor's degree in Medical Science (BMedSci). In this video, I read out my medicine personal statement, from which I was successful in receiving interviews from the University of Birmingham and King's College London.

No, but I’m confused at how similar structure is in the sense we both talk about hoe growing up in kenya contributed to our inspiration for medicine but also how we aim to help people in Kenya afterwards🤯🤯

Hi, i was literally mind blown when icame to know that u are partly from east Africa kenya. And am in uganda. Atlest we have a representative from this side.hamazzing and satisfying.
I did my alevels last year and i almost failed. I went back used my olevel results which were very Good. But the last few weeks have been so so hectic looking for a vacancy at a certificate level in comprehensive nursing. Luckily i have found one.but i would in the future want to upgrade to medicine. So my question does med schools only consider alevels or step by step upgrade from any medical field... Good evening. Sending alot of love from east Africa uganda

Hi! I want to apply to kings for dentistry, I heard that the majority of the PS needs to be made up of academics. I have a lot to talk about experiencewise, such as what I've learnt from work, volunteering and sports/hobbies which takes up more than my 'academics' side. Is this a problem? Should I try to find more to talk about academically? Thanks!

Hey! It can be whatever you like, although I do recommend that's it's science related. So anything like pharmacy or biomedical science is great!

Make sure you spend time training your mind to be confident too! How well you do really does involve how confident you are and how much you believe in yourself. So believe in yourself :) unfortunately my Japanese isn't good enough to film a video 😂 Maybe one day it will be!

I'd say to try your best to use your spare time to get as much experience as possible so by the time you apply you'll have a good CV :)
