We've officially moved in to our new house! Plus in this video theres a sneak peek at my new filming room! We finally empty our apartment, move everything in to the new house and I unpack and organise the kitchen!
The next vlog will be our trips to Ikea to get a few furniture pieces, me decorating my office/filming background and then, we'll be all caught up! :) - Zábava
Jasmine, whether you’re in there for 6 months or a year, I’d unpack everything. Thinks it’s important for you and Nick to make it your home (hang pictures etc), because with your job you’re spending most of the day at home, so make it a happy/aesthetically pleasing space to be in. I got teary-eyed when you guys did the little dance around the room. My husband lost his job several months ago and we had to sell our first home together. I was so emotional for a while, we are now staying with family until we get back on our feet again. I am wishing you both all the best, and a cozy home when the time finally comes❤️

She met Nick on a vacation. :) Other than that, I believe she has mentioned briefly her childhood and studies etc. Obviously some people like to keep some thing private for obvious reasons. But it's hard when you really enjoy the people you are watching and want to find out more :)

I’d recommend putting things up and making it your home. It doesn’t feel great living in limbo and like you’re not really “home.”

You're the only vlog channel I watch. You feel more 'human' and down to earth than a lot of others. You show your anxieties and daily issues and is nice to see. Honestly Jazzy your by far my favorite youtuber. I binged everything from your old channel and all your new stuff and I’m always beyond excited when a new video of yours comes out. Your everyday life that your willing to share is the most amazing vlogs I can think of because we get to see you and Nick just being yourselves and existing. So including travel stuff, everyday going out stuff? Relaxing at home stuff, pole and other exercise stuff, life updates, snack and meal times chats (mukbang style or normal), cleaning while chatting segments. Home rly just everything I think would be amazing if it’s about you and your life so whatever you are willing to share.
Personally, no matter how long you're staying. Unpack, make it feel like home, it's a place you'll be spending most of your time with it being your job. It was seriously help you mentally, not worrying where things are or having boxes looking at you making you feel rushed to move xx

I personally would unpack most things, you need to make it feel like a home but just a house you’re living in. I’d love a mixture of videos. From homely day to day vlogs to days out to stuff with you and nick.

When it comes to unpacking to make it feel more like home I would decorate, do what makes you happy. Your happiness outweighs everything
For a temporary house situation my advice is...unload the kitchen with as much stuff as you think you'll need like two plates two cups but not each and every individual thing. keep this stuff close for an easy grab. Set up your TV room ( or whatever you spend the most time) set that area up comfortable but lean pictures against the shelves rather than hang them put up less knick knacks. I know that's hard I'm sorry! Then of course setup your filming room however you want. good job Jazzy! I'm so proud of you both. you have it so much more together at your age than I did. Bedroom keep minimal as possible only the bare necessities most of your time you spend in there your have your eyes closed. Hope that helps! 🤩 🚚🎉
Vlog ideas: favorite places to eat, exploring local walks/zoos/aquariums etc, maybe try a week being a super scrimper? Like see how much you can save in a normal week?
Also my advice is just enjoy the house until you move again! I'd ve too busy stressing about hiding all the things I'm storing if it's not in it's usual place in the home if that makes sense?

I've moved about a year ago and in the beginning wasn't too sure how long I'd wanted to stay at my current place so I was really reluctant to put up any decorations (pictures, rugs...). It wasn't cozy nor comfortable to me and made me not want to spend much time at home. At some point I started decorating and painting the walls and now it no longer feels like living in a B&B/Hotel, which is nice (and it feels like home now too). So, I'd suggest making sure that it feels like your home no matter what that requires, even if you do move out after half a year. Unpack everything straight away. There is no need to keep things boxed up. Anything you don't unpack because you can do without for 6 months means that a) you'll forget that you have it and b) you don't need it at the new place either (there are exceptions of course).
As for vlog suggestions, maybe some exploring of the new area (touristy type of things, not necessarily the school down to road or anything too personal)

These are my favourite kind of content, just real life - organising little areas of the house, making decisions about decorating etc. That’s what I like to see most 🥰 Although I’ll watch whatever you make because you’re a little ray of sunshine and you brighten my (and my 8yo daughter’s) day! First off I hardly ever comment on videos... but I just even if you don’t see this I have to say you are just the sweetest most loveable person I have ever watched. Seeing (even just the small snippets) the way you handle yourself when you are stressed or tired you really are well beyond your years (wow laughing at myself talking like I have oh so much life experience 😂). And the dynamic between you and Nick really is the sweetest and purest thing to watch. What we get to see if him, he really is so adoring of you and absolutely incredibly supportive especially in these moving vlogs. And there is no doubt that it goes both ways too. You both have done such an incredible job and you should both be proud and I hope you have at least been able to enjoy some of the moving journey and process of setting up your new place. As a person who has moved many times, unpack mostly. Keep stuff packed that you don't use constantly(like Christmas, special occasion things, extra linens) but put up decorations, and everyday use things. It'll make it feel cozy. You can also use this as a time to get rid of stuff. Everytime I've moved I've gotten rid of just a bit more so it's stuff I really care about and am willing to move again.

Hey, Jazz! To answer your question... I just love watching vlogs in general. About just about anything. But I especially enjoy watching moving, decluttering, cleaning, organizing, decorating, shopping, etc vlogs. Because they really help to motivate me to clean, organize, declutter, decorate, etc, and they give me tips and ideas on how to decorate and all of that. I'm really in need of that type of inspiration recently 😅, so your moving vlogs are right on time.

Moving is so emotional. Honestly after a year and a half in our place, my boyfriend and I are still adding things here and there. The main thing: don't feel pressured to make that house "home" overnight. Take what you need and everything will sort itself out naturally :D

I say unpack like your staying, you cant really settle in and get the feel of a house if it's only half unpacked , fully unpacked your relaxed and can see if it feels home or if you think yall will want to go

Unpacking and settling in weather it be for six months or longer, will make you feel more relaxed.
If you have items that you haven't used for a while then leave them boxed and put them away out of sight. That way you won't feel cluttered.
