Is there a deck of yokoshima that actually plays more than 1 resonator and doesn't make use of the time bomb?😢
I wanna try to find a good deck list but seems the only way to play it is timebomb😔
i think timebomb control is probably one of yokoshima's best strats right now personally.

4:31 I thought AAA worked off the stone count of your opponent minus 1? So you wouldn't be able to cheat in a 2 since they had 2 (unless there's an errata or other context I'm missing)
you are right, that was my mistake on this.
When I was playing Wu vs my friends Hanada, all he needed to do was call one stone and cast Caring Gimmick T1 and swing every turn until game since i couldnt cast anything. Soooooo.... yeah. Wu needs help, badly.
Don’t forget just burning you with Sympathy and adding it back to hand if I didn’t draw Caring Gimmick
Any reason why Yokoshima couldn't just wait 20 turns to cumulate magic counters and just play everything at once including the remnant cards discarded at end of turn?
because there would not ever be anything yokoshima could cast that would actually deal damage to face. yokoshima can only ever reduce the cost of an ancient magic by 1 (for the color cost) and an additional 1 (for the void cost) for spells that have remnant. he can't dump multiple counters into a spell to fully reduce the color cost to 0 etc.
@@RulerSchoolTCG Oh crap. I did not noticed that you can only reduce by one per effects... That kinda suck...
its a tradeoff because he also suddenly makes a bunhc of non quick cast ancient magics quick cast... which is kind of nuts with like timebomb etc
Hanada still one of the stronger rulers at the moment, he's got a 1 will hard counter in forbidden words and he gives it qcast inherently to cast it from hand.
Wu also just loses to an ordered Misteltein 😂 found that out the hard way.

I really want to like Wu, but with his sub-ruler caring about stone count MINUS 1 (not showcased here) it really feels like you’re playing catch up the whole game because your opponent has at least two turns to develop while you do nothing most of the time. Stabilizing can feel impossible without having the perfect tools in hand when you need them. I don’t mean to be hyperbolic when I say I find the Lucie matchup to be completely unplayable. Here’s hoping he receives substantial support throughout the remainder of this cluster.
This is why i say that i believe wu wants to absolutely go second, because otherwise his first turn is just completely worthless. We believe he will be getting more support throughout the cluster so I am hopeful for what he might bring, but never the less wanted to showcase him on teh channel now.
