As an American, I can tell you that if this question was to be asked to your average American...Nigeria, South Africa or Kenya would make nearly every single persons list and Uganda would make absolutely no ones list.

Lol, most people do not watch marathon races and could care less about marathons. People know Kenya for safaris and that’s it. Nigerians are known for Afrobeats but also negative criminality eg scamming and drugs. Either way they are still more popular than Kenya whether for positive things or negative things.

Uganda has talented individuals, the presidents: idi Amin, museveni, and even bobi wine. Uganda been so popular over homosexuality, it’s politics and even history . If you don’t watch athletics, you might not know much about Kenya. The economy of Kenya being developed is only known by a few educated people and some people who have managed to visit the country. Western countries would not consider economy because they are better than us . However many people outside Africa know 🇺🇬,
