When I boil a few eggs for myself I save the egg water these plants love it. I have the purple an green plants they love being by bright window
Several times this plant has almost died out, but some how managed to spring back to life. I never knew it could be so easily propagated. Thanks 🙏
yo las hojas las pongo en un vaso con agua e igual hacen raices, o le saco camotitos a la planta grande y puedo tener mas plantas...
It may nor be dying but going into hibernation once in a while. Mine does.
Mine do this, they can easily go dormant if they get too hot, too cold, too dry or too wet. So try and keep them evenly watered and in a bright spot.
How often needs watering during the month in sand?

This is a very helpful and easy to understand video that has taught me how to propagate new purple shamrock/purple butterfly plants in a simple, inexpensive manner - THANK YOU! I was taught that this plant could only be propagated by transplanting the small bulbs, so I never thought it would work by stem cutting. Your video has since shown me that it can in fact grow quite well from stem cuttings! One question - how often do you water when they are in sand? Thanks again!!

I've managed to grow a new plant by putting a corner of one of the leaves in soil and watering just a little when dry but this looks easier, I've had the mother plant for about 20 years and it's still going strong although its an indoor plant . It wouldn't last long outside in our cold norwegian winters.
@@Shaylas yes it did but I just left it , this year has been the best one yet ,this spring i think I'll have to repot it which I've never done before.
I just left in my kitchen and still water it a little as usual, at the time I didn't realise that it went dormant, it only had about 5 leaves left , I think it's doing so well because I moved it the window in living room.

@@lernnijuco4142 I think it just does it self , it was such a long time ago that it happened.
Try putting a seed outside in the ground covering it lightly with mulch and it will come back in the spring/summer. I live in the cold also and mine comes back every year bigger and bigger.

Это кислица, а не моль.На улице её лучше не сажать, иначе она рассеится так , что вы её потом не выведете.А дома она прекрасно растёт.
