  • Midterm week just ended at Yonsei University, where I’m currently studying as an exchange student. Though my class schedule is not nearly as comprehensive as a local student’s, I thought I’d document what the midterm season was like for me!
Yonsei’s campus has a number of places you can study at and I like to rotate between a few, but I also try to go out as much as I can - which means finding public spaces that are free to sit in for a while. I usually try to find bookstores, libraries, or malls where they have open lounges. Cafes are never a fail, but they can be pricy and add up if you go to one every time you wanted to go off campus. So I try to go only once a week, but this week I went a few times due to the season and being invited by friends.
I hope everyone has a good midterms/exams season wherever you are! It’s always easier said than done, but remember that grades and school really only mean so much. They will never be worth more than your time, mental/emotional/physical health, and experiences, ESPECIALLY if you’re studying abroad.

💗 Hi! My name is Lynne and I'm a 20 year old Japanese-American girl who loves travel, baking, and pretty things :) which is why I'm trying to keep a collection of my memories on here for myself and to share with all of my loved ones and anyone who could benefit from it! At the moment, I'm a university student and happily studying abroad in Seoul, South Korea 🇰🇷

Watching such a high quality video with so less views really has this sort of personal touch to it......hope you get the attention you deserve for the effort put into these videos though....and guess what you've earned yourself a subscriber.

Yay that's so exciting! I'm currently enrolled in KLI's "basic" Korean course for the semester, so it's supposed to be much less demanding than the intensive. It's split into three levels and apparently they're supposed to amount to all of KLI intensive Level 1 (?), so it's basically doing something that is usually done in a month but over 16 weeks instead. I'm in the "basic" level 2, but imo it's VERY slow, so unfortunately I wouldn't say I'm learning at a pace that actually forces me to practice/study/remember anything. The workload is nonexistent for this class, and I heard the same about KLI Intensive Level 1, but I'm not sure how it is for students in JUST the language program (since all of my peers are exchange students). Sorry if this long reply doesn't help answer your question better, but I hope you have fun when you come here!
