Again, another fabulous creation! What paints do you use and what do you recommend for a beginner. I love the colors in your palette. It seems that mine only have more of the bright colors. I'm not really great at mixing colors yet, but i won't give up. Thank you so much for your inspiration.
Deonna Bemish thank you 😊 I like winsor&newton, but don’t use a lot of money. It’s not the colorbrand that makes you a good painter, it’s practice 😉👍🏻 I would recommend that you don’t use many colours in the beginning, just a few that harmonies with each other will do just fine 😊 happy painting!

Rebecka Andersson thank you 😊 I use g-tec that is very thin, but anything will do, I like them thin for details. It’s easier when it’s waterproof , this is not. For the white I use a white gell pen 😊

I love your work. I have a question about your process, why do you ink before you watercolor? I know you need to after, just curious as I'm amazed at your control of the pen.
Megan W Hey there ☺ Thank you, you are very kind🌸 first I draw it in, and then I paint, and sometimes I go back and forth between the two 😉 but if I use ink first I use sometimes a waterproof ink pen like microns, but sometimes I don't mind it bleeding into the paint. It can be a nice effect 😊👍🏻
Thank you. I've been playing with watercolors again and I'm an acrylic person. I never use any sort of guide, I just start painting what I want on the canvas with no guide other than my reference photo. I've discovered it just doesn't work that way with watercolor.
Some artist can do it with watercolour but that is more of a free and abstract way of painting. I like more control, but that is because I'm an illustrator 😉 I have done both acrylic and oils, as you can see on my previous videos, but watercolour is the material that closest to my heart 💗
I had to learn to give up that control switching from graphite to acrylic and now I'm having trouble finding it again. Back to those old art class exercises for me.
Megan W we all have to go back to basics from time to time. I think that is a good thing 😉👍🏻and to have control you also have to learn not to have it 😉 in everything there is a balance 🌸

tom ribble ofcourse this is real 😉👍🏻so some small critters are living here, but in this pic they are having a relaxing evening inside ☺ I have sketched up a lot of thumbnails where there are som tiny elves jumping around on their mushroomhouses 😊🌸🍄🍄🍄

Gorgeous! but I think it would be better if you leave the flowers from behind without the ink outline to make them look further (this is just my opinion). Nonetheless it's lovely.
