I was looking at one of these on Craigslist but it's listed as a zig zag machine. Does it sew straight stitch and, if so, how would I adjust it for that? Thanks in advance.
I've just picked up one of these machines, and could use some help in setting it up. Do you know where I can find good instructions on threading, and setting it?
Singer copied and mailed the manual to me when I got mine 30+ years ago. They were incredibly nice and helpful, but they've recently been bought out by someone who may not be as helpful. Worth a try. Or you could contact me perhaps, but I dunno how to do that on CZcams without putting my stuff out for the whole world. If you respond to my comment, I may get a notification...

How can I lengthen the stitch more it reaches 8 and it lacquers I cannot go to 4 or 5
