  • It's not too often that you see industrial treadle tables with the back extension. The model 31-20 is like the 31-15 with a larger bobbin + bobbin case. They seem to be less common with almost no videos or posts about them. This machine has been one heck of a journey!

Ive got this same machine and the same table, im rebuilding the table out of oak as the original is in bad shape and have all of the hardware except the little lever that holds the side leaf up. Theres not a chance youd have an extra one youd sell is there? 😂 i know its a long shot.
Failing that, could you let me know a few measurements of it if it isnt too much trouble? Namely how wide and how thick it is, and how long it is from the table along the outer edge down to where the notch is that locks against the metal stand. From there i should be able to make my own. Thanks if you can help

    Hello,
My landlord was renovating the downstrairs appartnemtn and uncovered a machine very similar to this one. He was about to throw it away when I decided to save it, but I am unsure of IF it is the same machine. I am not a seamer nor do I know anything about sweing machines, but I just knew I had to save that machine. Could anyone point me in a direction to correctly identify it?

    Thank You so much😉

Hi, I have a 31-20 electric motor version that I'd love to convert to treadle. Is the wheel hard to source? Do you know if a standard Singer treadle base would work? Love your videos!

It will work 😊just need to measure the leather belt you will need. The larger industrial treadle base is just wider at the legs to accommodate the larger wheel. I have with a standard treadle.

Depends on the motor type. All industrial sewing machines use a 3/8" wide v-belt. Most machines use a 40" belt more or less. There is a simple test you can do. Get a piece of string and make it like you're putting a belt on the machine. Cut the piece of string and measure it.

Do you have a quick order of operations to correctly reassemble the NECCHI Mira tension assembly. Thank you sew much.

No such thing as "quick" with that machine, it's been over a year since I had one. I would suggest looking up the service manual, theres a free one floating around. It has a full diagram that shows the order of the tension assembly. It will help you way more than I ever could.
