Just came across this, well that was a roller coaster; I donât suppose the protocol is to comment in your own stuff, but hey itâs been a while since we have been there so it feels like I am watching someoneâs elseâs story. Boy it looks exciting, would I do it again, in a heartbeat, yep.
I have learned so much from this experience, build your dreams, better to have lost everything trying, than regret never giving it a go. My only regret was accepting help from outsiders.
After licking our wounds we are going to do it again.
Nope, I don't think it was worth everything he and by extension his family went through. Everyone goes on about views, when you can just stand on a hill and take in the view... Not spend hundreds of thousands (or millions), stress and health for a house with a view. The way she looked at him before answering every question put to her tells another story altogether.
Profligate, delusional, and self-aggrandizing. Is the sale of the part-finished building and divorce next?
Bit of a tale to this one! Robert never actually fully completed the build, and was forced to sell following a skirt with bankruptcy and legal proceedings with his neighbour. All's well that ends well now, it's a stunning B&B owned by a different family.
The lady that bought the home is the same one that lent him the money to complete it .

Just saw it on David Britton real estate, for sale for 2.8 million!
