    my looper when I was sharpening it....middle part of blade is actually bent some, and I can't do one smooth action because there is a tiny ball in the middle, do I keep sharpening the tiny ball/bent to get rid of the ball?

    No. That side of the blade should be FLAT. They should only be sharpened on ONE SIDE, and that’s not the side

      The tungsten carbide turns a very small thin burr on to the flat side.
      Felco, the maker of the pruners writes in their instructions to "lightly" deburr, holding a tool at a 15° angle which is not flat but very slightly beveled.
      You are absolutely correct to say don't alter the flat side but looking at a brand new pair will ease your mind.
