Everyone in the comments is talking about the drummer. But nobody is talking about that delicious bass tone.
So right mate :-) The bass lines are awesome!
such commets from diiots so relax. As ex-orchesta player i can say if 1 musical instrument is bad all musical composition is bad. So they all perfect. Dont listen idiots.
Yeah huh. Yeah huh.
It's chocolatey with a hint of mint, mmmmmmm.......
Scrumptious
Dang, Brian's bass tone is a hammer blow of truth.
This band is like 3 masters coming together. Respect, confidence, telepathy and skil.
Thats 4 tho
lmao
8 years later and a CZcams rabbit hole has graced me with this. One of those moments you realise how incomplete your life has been until that moment.
in my opinion. russian circles is a saving grace for all us music nerds.
By any chance are you a neurosis fan?
Russian Circle is just over the top, All three are great musician...and their drummer is probably the best Drummer of this generation...exceptional. I love how the guitar and bass guitar provides the harmonic backdrop to the groove
Hearing him drum I get instant MOIST! God hes amazing. Russian Circles have the their own genre!!!!
This performance is ridiculous. They have to be one of the most powerful 3 pieces ever!
I've seen them three times. Worth every penny.
If you see one of the guys, talk to them. They are great in every aspect.
One of the greatest performances I've heard... because my eyes were closed the entire time. That feel.
this calls music.
Yes, they are sick live. 💜
Dedicated fan for years now, these guys are just unrivaled. I'm even seeing them later tonight!
Dave, you are a sick drummer dude, one of my favorites. Nobody rocks the bass effects like Brian Cook, definitely helps make the 3 member group sound like 4, and Mike...you just straight up rock man.
An unrivaled trio.
Never heard of these guy's before. Until they opened up for Mastodon at the Hollywood Palladium. I became a fan Instantly.
MrAmigo82 Same. One of the best light shows I've ever seen. I was sucked in for the whole set.
Same :-) in Boston. They were Amazing!!!
MrAmigo82 i think I was there that night. I got to have a guitar lesson with Bill Kelliher earlier in the day. Was Eagles of Death metal also opening?
Same for me but at a Gojira concert. These three bands are on whole other level than anyone. The world needs more of this.
Good thinking - right there brother 🤘
From Buenos Aires, Argentina. Incredible band. Wonderful sound. Full metal power. Atmospheric, dense, dark. Great performance on every track. I'm fan since I've listened to them for the very first time.
I just LOVED watched Brian play live last time I saw them: he was playing the bass, and somehow managing to extend the pinkie finger of his fretting hand to trigger a sampler at the same time. Talk about multitasking!
Heavy. Aggressive. Hard. Motivating.
Well done men.
and has some dark feeling
Chicks dig that !
that drummer...
Arno Burtner Dave Turncrantz is a fucking B E A S T
Easily one of the best alive.
i particularly like the drumms on these sessions, does this cat play Vistalites live? they sound amazing
I am a stoner-psychedelica singer songwriter looking for bands to groove with !! Share the love...!! dani bandolier - i am available worldwide

peace and love my brothers and sisters
@@paulstanley2194 extremely old comment, but he usually plays stainless steel Ludwigs on tour nowadays.
This piece of music is ridiculously important
I'd love to see a live studio session of Deficit. That would be killer.
OMG Deficit
This is one of those songs where it ends and I'm just like "....YEAH!"
This is like....If Adam, Justin, and Danny from TOOL never discovered Maynard and just decided to go and make music anyways without a singer. I am in love.
Do u know about Isis & Pelican? Otherwise, check em´out :-)
If these trees could talk is good, explosions in the sky too. A lot sadder and less satanic sounding at times though on both counts.
Im an drug addict and i have depression. the last months i was in a very deep dark place inside me. Russian Cirles saved a lot of days, maybe my life with their music.
I feel you, brother; hope everything’s better!
These guys opened for Mastodon at Hard Rock. Amazing live band. Instant fan.
Mastodon was the coolin down after...
I cannot believe how good they sound live. I also love the fact that I feel like because I know who they are and others dont, It makes me feel part of something special. However I do want them to be successful.
seen them twice can confirm
I saw these guys supporting Mastodon a couple months ago and this was the song they opened with. The bass tone alone felt like it could shift mountains.
Just got this link from my little brother, which i use to be in band with. He was the singer i was the drummer. We still push music to each other, and this link i got today. He knows i´m crazy for Isis & Pelican, and i must say....i´m all IN!
DAMN I love those guys. Seen them 3 time so far and they've never disappointed.
Great Band ! :)
this band will forever be in the circle of my music influence. Glad to have such great experience watching them live few years ago.
what an amazing hard post rock atmosphere, simply amazing how they combine instruments to make such a profound sound.
They are awesome, I love how their sound!!
Simply amazing
The way they drop it down to such quiet... so incredible. Just an all out amazing performance.
The sound is friggin' amazing...cheers!
This metal is tripped out.....very brutal n deep!
This is incredible! such a great band!
WOW!
This guys are so good!
All that sound from 3 dudes? WOW AF!
Went to see mastodon in 2018 or something, there was them The Eagles Of Death Metal (They Blew got bood offstage, sounded like a fucking band practice tbh) and Russian circles comes out, blew my goddamm mind we were hype, best shit ever been listening ever since.
I find this video so mesmerizing to watch, e.g. how each of the different instrument components merge to create the ever changing fabric of the song.
breathtaking
Awesome grooves and textures
One of the greatest songs ever.
This is such a deep, moving, powerful and hauntingly beautiful song.
309 LIVE IS LITERALLY EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD TO ME. (then again... so is every other Russian Circles song)
Saw them last night in Seattle and oh myyyyyy. They were so impressive. Tons of energy and so tight. The drummer is amazing!
From Turkey I Love Russian Circles

SUPER CHINGONSISIMA LA BANDA.. BUENA ROLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Saw these guys last night, incredible
Pedal Tapdancing at it’s absolute best.
Really, one of the greatest bands in this fucking world. Absolutely post metal heroes.
I have and it was amazing! the drummer was pretty much standing the whole time cuz he was dropping into every note. the bass was so loud it rocked my seat the whole performance. 10 top shows ive been to thus far!
WOW. Bravo gents!
Excellent work.
Une énergie que j'aime beaucoup, surtout celle du batteur, dingue! Ça nettoie les oreilles et bravo à votre trio de cette belle composition!
This drummer must have an amazing right leg
theArchive1O he actually does. He told us the story how he got a leg that strong
and that's why he always walks in a curve.
Simplesmente magnífico !!!!
Great , great band !!
just saw them in San Francisco tonight for the first AND NOT last time! One of the best live bands I've ever seen. These guys are incredible \m/
I love the use of feedback by the bass player @ 3:43. These guys show intelligence and intensity along with fat, dirty tone. Love it!
such beautiful band
Mike Sullivan and i have a lot in common
you look beautiful in this video man with your epic Custom Les paul of Honor
Masterpiece!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Extreme coolness...
This is the piece that got me interested in this band. The entire album is great. Any band that names themselves after a hockey drill has got to be great.
When i think I have listen to it all, this comes up. F@cking brilliant piece of work!!!! ~Recommended by my great old buddy Rui from Portugal! Cheers m8!
Well this is awesome indeed
Großartig!
Can't wait to see these guys tomorrow.
Wow just knew them...i should have listened it ....extremly kick ass
Love that "some kinda wonderful" beat at the beginning

Наши глаза от слез ослепли
WOOW!! Nice production!! \m/
this band is pretty incredible. i can't believe how much this sounds like the album.
I am so goddamn stoked to see these guys with Mastodon in Kansas City!!!
bass drum sounds incredible. holy
Saw these guys with Coheed and I have to admit I didn't like them at first...
But now I can't get enough of these dudes!!! I started digging them after like the 2nd song at the concert. Reminds me of newer Mastodon stuff.
maybe the best post metal song ever written...
best instrumental
Crazy how this version sounds better than the LP.
I saw these guys last night. They were pretty damn good.
Sounds great
such a band man
my fucking favourite song.
Masterful
that guitar sounds massive!
Saw them live in Singapore..It was like listening to the universe..
Awesome video!! You guys are amazing live. I hope you come back to Jacksonville, Fl soon because that was the best concert I've ever been to, and the fact that I got to meet you all completely astonished me! Hope to see more masterpieces from the epic trio!
