@@ATozz-1337 Yeah honestly this. ZSS is straight up one of Mac’s worst matchups. Frame data and mobility on par with his, but with a better recovery, options that require less commitment, a far better air game, and the ability to reliably and consistently edgeguard Mac. *Very* heavily ZSS favored.
4:39 “I telegraphed that” is actually a quote that doc louis says when you fight him and hit him with a star punch, think it’s cool that the best mac player is quoting random things from the games.

@@RowBlanka In settings you can choose between having echo fighters each getting their own squares on the character select screen grid, or having them share squares with the fighter they are echoes of and switching to that with Y. I found it funny how it could confuse WaDi, a pro player who somehow had never seen it before.
Time and time again Wadi convinces me that he doesn't play the game. Dude's game knowledge to tournament results ratio is abysmal.

ESAM’s next matchup chart: Little Mac is even at best
lol it's just matchup inexperience. Nobody plays Mac as well as Peanut and thus people don't know how to properly face him sometimes. Plus Mac is just very cheesy with the KO punches and the insane amount of super armored moves. Pika generally tries to get you into multi hit moves and start combos that end up offstage but Mac can sorta counter that with well timed super armor to power through tjolt.
@@ether2275 Correction, YOU don't know anybody that plays Mac as well as Peanut does. There's at least 4 Mac players on par or better than he is. Alternis who is on par, Kwaz who is just better, Tarakotori who, granted, is fairly inactive, and Wonderbread who while drifting off of Mac, is still one of the best in the world
Also KraK I don't think he'll change the MU chart too much, as kinda showcased here Mac doesn't do horribly against Pika but no way in hell is it even
@@minejack7773 Alternis is not on par with peanut… check their stats and Peanut almost always does better than him and also beats him every time they run into each other in bracket

Actually changed my mind, peanut is objectively the best Mac right now cuz kwaz is like no where to be found at majors, he places better than alternis and Tarakotori doesn’t play(not recently from what I’ve seen but I don’t keep up with Japan that often so prove me wrong if I am). Now if tara did play then that’s a different story.
@@truse1777 Peanut also is one of the most notable solo macs. Tarakotori, alternis, and Kwaz all have reliable secondaries in bracket as far as i know

Before the video, I knew that Marss was going to have the best win rate simply because ZSS is a nightmare for mac. but I was surprised that WaDi did better than ESAM. I love surprising Pika players with neutral b armor through all of their moves XD

Pika demolishes little mac. Esam is just horrible, he resorts to annoying campy tactics and still loses. Dude is carried and still isn’t that good
exactly, zero suit is a small fast hitbox that stays in the air most of the time, so mac only has a small chance to hit her when she lands for the split second.
True, but marss is also just the best panda player by a good bit so even without the winning matchup he likely would have done the best

Peanut is honestly one of if not my number 1 favorite player to watch. The way he navigates the stage with Mac’s fantastic mobility and always mixes up his recoveries is always fun to watch. It’s also awesome to see him doing so well with a character many players call the worst in the game.

@@monky4640 You say that like a joke but it’s actually true. 3rd highest run speed, 13th fastest air speed, 2nd fastest fall speed, and the 3rd fastest initial dash. His mobility is literally one of the few things he has going for him

It seems like in the twitch chats of the world it's always your player vs. my player, whoever you want to win all the tourneys is the golden goose and anyone in their way is the enemy, but here everyone seems to be mostly having a good time and everyone's friendly. Low tier underdog and high tier top players alike. Especially cool how Esam and Peanut just seem to be like...curious about each other's characters/the matchup and happy to learn.

ZSS is just good and has better options than Mac
