February 15, 2014 - Animal Rescue Corps responded to an urgent call from Hamblen County officials for assistance with 73 dogs of various breeds and two cats found living in deplorable conditions in a home in Morristown, TN.
The Morristown Hamblen Humane Society made this discovery on Valentine's Day while responding to complaints regarding an animal rescue organization being operated in the home and they immediately reached out to ARC for help upon discovering the severity of the conditions and the large number of animals in danger at the property. ARC was on the ground less than 24 hours later with the necessary equipment and supplies, transport vehicles, volunteers, and veterinarian.
ARC safely removed 100% of the animals and transported them to an emergency shelter set up for this operation where ARC will provide daily care, full medical exams, vaccinations, and any necessary treatments until placement with partnering shelters and foster networks.

I am glad the ARC understands animals do have emotions, unlike the people who did this.

Still have no idea how you can do it over and over and not be emotional. I would be a freaking mess having to see what you all see at these horable places. That takes a lot out of you I would imagine. Thanks for helping the victims of all the puppy mills,hoarders,factory farms,dog fighting rings,cock fighting and everything else you do for animals . God bless you all. Still amazes me how someone can live like that and think it's ok. If it's hoarding that's sad.

Until people open their eyes, this will never stop!!! I am a very strong animal advocate and rescuer, yet, none of my friends and family take these news seriously and they buy puppies without a blink of an eye.

I don't see how someone can sleep at night knowing animals are existing in hells under his "care." I'm thankful albeit sad to be one of your supporters; sad that these things happen at all. Wish I could donate more, but with other orgs. to help too, it's not easy. What became of humanity?

These people who are cruel to these animals should be hung by their gonads!!!! What the hell is wrong wih people? It just makes me sick to see these animals in the horrible conditions they were in. Thank God for all those who rescued them. They had a tough job.
