I have many legendary weapons and when they added the armory to the game they locked all legendary weapons in the airdrops in BR. All my legendary weapons were gone unless I hunted down airdrops. It’s back to normal now but I realized they can do whatever they want whenever they want.

Hey Squally, Its a super cool gun and thanks for the vid. However, like everything else in CODM they couldn't give a shit about poor people. The prices could be much lower for them to continue to make millions but like any corporation, that just isn't enough for them. You know the crazy thing is this, many economists have shown that exclusivity in businesses actually makes less money than inclusivity. If they lowered the prices to a more affordable rate not only would more people be able to participate in buying their products but people would actually spend more over time. Let me give you an example that I'm making up to apply to CODM but is translated from studies I've read. So where I am the last few lucky draws are priced at about 125 USD, even though I'm not in the states but that's a currency more folks will understand, The idea is this, a lot of people don't have 125 bucks they can kick out at any given week. Now, if those same items were in a 25 dollar bundle, which is still expensive for virtual items, but more reasonably priced then people would actually kick out for it. It has to do a bit with conditioning. With the crates and lucky draws being so highly priced, many people are being conditioned to not spend at all or very rarely. But if it were more reasonably priced then people would be conditioned to spend when they can rather than never. Rich people that can afford to buy everything will still buy everything regardless of the price. However, by lowering the price they would encourage people to spend that normally do not and once they start spending, they will spend more and more as long as they can afford it. Instead they are spending it on something else or not at all.
edit: When I say that being inclusive outpaces being exclusive, that only applies when you have a consumer base that could potentially be in the millions. As it is, only an exclusive few can afford to spend on their products which is a tiny percentage of their potential consumer base. For instance, if you have 2 people spending 100 a week then thats 800 profit per month but if you have 40 people spending 25 a month then that is 1000 profit. 2 people out of 40 is 5 percent and I seriously doubt that the CODM exclusive base, people that buy everything or everything they want, gets any where close to 5 percent of their total potential consumer base.
I thought of something else that I forgot to mention in my original comment and it's two fold. The first is that I do understand why they they create exclusivity. The reason has to do with perception. They want the world, mostly their consumers but also just within their community, to have the perception that their product is highly valuable. They want their product to be the most valuable of its kind that it can be and that value is determined by the amount their exclusive base is willing to pay, but what's the point in having a highly valued product if only a small percentage of people can afford it? What, other than bragging rights, is the point?
Second, we humans have a habit of creating exclusivity. The rich must have the best of the best of whatever it is they have their eyes on and so corporations create a space for them when and where they can.
Heres the rub though, it's not their exclusive base that keeps the game going. It's the pay players that spend a small to moderate amount of money regularly because there are so many more of them. It's the people that buy the battle pass every season and that spend money occasionally on bundles and a lucky box 2 or 3 times a year and always spends a few coins on the first 3 or 4 draws of lucky draw on the chance that they might get the character or the gun. But that's only half the answer, the other half is the free to play players. The people that never spend money because they can't afford to or spend money once or twice a year on a special occasion. And if you don't believe me that free to play players keep the game going then go hop on pubg and see how much fun it is to play when you're killing 80 percent bots because your free to play base gave up on the game for something better. If the non pay players up and quit tonight then CODM would be dead within 2 weeks.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that non players should quit or threaten to quit or anything like that. I'm saying two things, first an exclusive base is useless. They are not important to the game neither in purchasing power or in keeping the game afloat with their numbers because there isn't a whole lot of them because that's what an exclusive base is.
Second, CODM should rethink how it treats its consumer base, the moderate pay player and the free to play players are the consumers that keep the game going. And every time they release a lucky draw or a crate I can not help but think about the slight this is to the rest of us when the player base is as important as the game itself.
If their product was more reasonably priced and they gave away some small amount of awesome free skins then I argue that it would be a much bigger game than it is because what would happen is that you would up the satisfaction level amongst base consumers which translates directly to how buzzworthy it is which attracts more players who will be more satisfied who will attract more players. They could both make way more money and keep the perception that their product is the most highly valued in the market by basing that value not on how much an exclusive base is willing to pay but by how big their consumer base is and how satisfied they are which would bring in more players and thus more money.

A final thought. For anyone that doubts the importance of the sheer numbers of the moderate pay player with the non pay gamers, well, I could point to any endless number of examples where just sheer numbers greatly affects the outcome of a thing. Societal change, for example, happens when a small group of determined people convince everyone else that change is both worthwhile and possible. Or, any number of companies that have bottomed out not because their product was suddenly bad or anything else with their company but the masses lost faith in their product. Lastly consider China's huge mass of people. The US has about 330m while China has well over a billion. According to Cambridge University there are approx. 350m English learners in China. This is an indication that China could one day have more English speakers than there are people in the US and of the 330m people in the US, not even all of them speak English.
