Ump did good making coach let him sit. He was dazed
He scared not hurt.
I can't explain how many times I got concussions when I was younger and the coaches would pressure me to stay in because I wasn't hurt.
May God bless you all
The kid said he wasn't running anyways. My guess is he's a pitcher or catcher and they knew beforehand that they were going to use a courtesy runner. My point is, he threw the helmet away because he knew he wasn't running the bases, not because his head was fuzzy.
Yeah but he was walking to the base , you always wear your helmet as a runner , even if he had a pinch runner waiting on him .
Cause rule is the one that gets walked or in this case HBP has to "take 1st base" then the runner of catcher/pitcher comes out and trades with him!
@@seankiesling2054 incorrect. In most youth leagues, including high school, rules allow for the pitcher and/or catcher that hits to have a courtesy runner when they get on base. It's mainly intended to speed the game up by ensuring that the pitcher and catcher are immediately ready to take the field once their team is done hitting.
@@brianbaroody6370thatâs what he just said

I was standing up in the dugout. Took a line drive straight to the head. I was out that game. Up came to me to ensure I was good. Few weeks later he was a ump again. Before the game he came to see how I was.
We need more ump cam footage
