Brian great vocolist; been following him since i was in my lower 20's. I'm 36 young now. Shadows Fall
Been doing the same, from 12 when I first started to 26 years old now
same from 2005 (i was 14 then, 30 now). god i miss these guys.
STILL LISTENING 2019
2021 and for decades to come.
Love this vocalist! His voice just gets you more into the show than you already are
When you turn on your local radio station in 2019, and it all sounds like bits and pieces of this....but this was 15+ years ago.
Saw this band on dimebag Darrel's last tour and once before that.
One of the many underrated 2000s era metal bands....
Matt with his freaking king diamond-esque vocal range lol.
the power of i and i... cara... muito muito BOM!
só? kkk
This is an amazing performance by the entire band but damn Jason Bittner is killing it! Paul... maternity leave.. awesome :)
So glad Shadows Fall are back together! Hope they stop by my city. Been dying to see them since 08!
I hope to see this band live again one day. Jon Donais is a bad ass!
LOVE this band, thank you Rock Hard Live for recording.
Seen this band two times at the ranch bowl in Omaha Nebraska 03 and 04.
This band should've been so much more successful than they were! They had an awesome three album run with Of One Blood, Art of Balance, and the War Within and then they just kind of lost momentum. Great band though! Sorry that they broke up!
That's the key right there. The subsequent albums didn't hold up to the first 3.
idk, Fallout from the War and Retribution were awesome.
Idk how they lost momentum. Fire From the Sky (last) was an absolutely killer album…I feel it was their best and still on regular metal rotation for me. Love these guys!
@@artvandeleghe happy to hear they are doing a reuinion!
Hit the nail on the head. I still love the Art of Balance, The lead work on that album was a major early influence on my playing.
miss these guys so much
Hell yeah!
I miss the hell outta these guys, they always put on a great show.
thx!
Saw them on this tour at Wally's Pub in NH. Fucking off the hook, that show was.
Great upload also.
what a Great band
Met Brian Fair in 07 at Sounds of the Underground and he was awesome. Also Matt went backstage for me and got me a set of Threads of Life guitar picks. Cool guys.
come back to us Shads!!!!!
you guys should let them play again :D !!!! they've got more brilliant music to show :))
Как круто играют 😮
I miss this band so much man

44:42 HOLY SHITTTTT
where the hell is Paul Romanko??!?!?!?!?!?!
where the hell is paul romanko?!?!?!?
I see.
No, it's actually a different bloke, Paul was out with carpal tunnel
Jason Bittner prides himself in NOT triggering. It sure does sound like it here. Or am I not seing the internal boundary mic?
Gotta be the mics. I've heard him multiple times also say he doesn't like triggers and that sound. Bet he wasn't too happy hearing his kick sound here. But it could also be just what the camera sound is picking up. It def isn't hooked up to the soundboard.
+Luke Williams I agree. But where are they?
+Luke Williams found em. Through watching the video more thoroughly, I can see a cable coming out of both sound holes. He must be using an internal boundary mic like a Beta 98. He also uses a metal danmar click pad which provides great attack. I personally can attest to the effectiveness of the Beta 98. I combine that mic with the Beta 52 at the sound hole. It sounds destructive. :-)
The cables are clearly there. There is always a huge difference from the room and the dumped mix and the video. I have a sub on my system and it sounds great, when I turn off the sub its all clickey. BOOm necroed
where is shadows fall's Bassist??
gee.
where is paul?
:)
Anyone know who is on bass here? Never mind. They answered it lol.
Is that the dude from Lizard Lick Towing playing bass...
maturnity leave. didnt you hear brian?
Do myself and your fans a favor and make a comeback!?!
They're back. Will be in Daytona at welcome to Rockville 5-12-24 spread the word
=D
oops, sorry guys i didnt mean to write all those messages
The bass drum isn't miked, so that's why it sound so triggered
@Michael Wong I'm not saying that in a bad way though. But i don't see any mike on the bass drum. Hell, all metal drummers i know are going with trigger right now as it is easy to get the sound you like, especially with double bass setup. Less hassle with equalizer, gates and much faster to set up 😅
Something that i know for a long time is, Jason are the beast with the kick drum. His kick is very powerful, maybe it's the venue soundman that prefer using trigger for the bass drum?
@Michael Wong well, i agree with that. Maybe it's just the sound guy that too lazy to get the right bass sound? Not blaming anyone though, just saying that the bass drum sounds like it is using a trigger and drum module.
@Michael Wong He is probably. Well using trigger doesn't bad anyway, it is depends on the sensitivity setting and the sound bank they used though.
Hmmm... I'm not really down with them any more. Saw them oppening up for Kittie way back in 2002 i think it was. They where great back then.
... and they only played two songs off of the Art of Balance.
Am i missing something or Paul just eat too much junkie food? haha
Who let Pugsley play bass?!
There was more excitement in the crowd when Marty McFly played the Enchantment Under the Sea dance.
that crowd sucks
The bassist looks fat. I don't remember him being that big. Not a big deal but its just something I noticed.
i hate the hair from the leader, the soundleader is good, and the one in the backround
where the hell is paul romanko?!?!?!?
